"Elizabeth I can explain.." Ms. Swenson started.

"euuuuaaAAHH GET OUT GET OUT GET OUT!" Jeremy's mom screamed, grabbing a cushion from Jeremy's bed and advancing on the two lovers.

Snapping out of his panic, Jeremy quickly dove for the wishing rock and snatched it off the floor.

"I wish Mom would calm down and was okay with what Ms. Swenson and I did!"

Elizabeth stopped in her tracks, lowering the cushion and then placing it back on Jeremy's bed.

"Sorry for interrupting you two. Hmm, what did I come in here for again?"

Elizabeth pondered for a moment, then shrugged and turned to leave. Ms. Swenson looked at Jeremy questioningly.

"How on earth did you do that?" she asked, amazed.

"Uhm, this magical rock was delivered to us today and it grants whatever I wish for," Jeremy stated, too frazzled to come up with a good lie.

"Yeah right, and I'm a monkey's uncle," Ms. Swenson retorted.

"No it does, really! Give it a go - but I wish you'd only make a wish affecting yourself and give the rock back afterwards," Jeremy said, offering the wishing rock to Ms. Swenson. One wish couldn't hurt right?

"Alright fine, but you'll have to tell me how you actually did that to your mom after this doesn't work," Ms. Swenson replied, taking the rock from Jeremy.
