Kate, a college girl

Kate was living at her mom's house while going to the local college. During high school she was the head cheerleader and the prom queen. She was pretty, she was fit, she had a handsome boyfriend, and money wasn't really a problem if she was careful at her expenses. It would be perfect for her if not for few issues.

College was harder than high school, she had a hard time keeping her grades high enough to stay there. But most of all, her dad left her mom for a younger woman, which gave her abandonnement issues and increased the tension between her and her mother.

As she was coming back from the campus, she noticed in front of the door, a delivery. Kate looked at the box, it was destined to her.

"Uh ? I didn't order anything... I think..." She said.

Bringing the box home, she put it on the table and opened it. As soon as she saw what was inside, she jumped of disgust.

"What the fuck ? A stuffed monkey paw ? Who send me this ?" She commented.

Inside, with the paw, she saw a note. She took it carefully and read it. But all it said was "Make a wish."

"It's some kind of sick joke ?" She wondered out loud.

Kate thought of throwing it away, but somehow couldn't. There was too much stuffs she didn't know. And there was the what if... A wish is a big gain, and there was nothing to lose... She carefully took the paw, a little bit disgusted by the hairs and the fact that it looked quite real. And the she thought of a wish...

Being rich would have been nice, but money doesn't solve everything. No, the thing that came to her mind predominantly was her mom working overtime, and drinking in her free time while telling Kate that she got to find a well paid job before her boyfriend leaves her for a younger slut.

"I wish, I stay forever young and attractive so I'll always have someone to take care of me." She said.

To her surprise, one of the fingers of the paw curled to its palm and she felt a strong pain in all her body. She let out a cry of pain until after fifteen seconds it stops. Kate's body felt strange, and she looked at her forearms and hands to see a skin perfectly smooth and unblemished.

"Holly shit, did it work ?" She said.

Leaving the paw, she rushed to the bathroom and got in underwear to take a picture in the mirror.

Her skin had lost any imperfection, her hairs were thin and had natural volume, they were even natural blond now. Her breasts had grown a little bit too, and her face was slightly better proportionate. She had no facial hairs under the eyes, no body hairs under the neck... But something was off. She had some kind of bare code tattooed on her lower belly...

"Weird..." She told herself, rubbing it.

She put back on her clothes and went back to the living room to get the monkey paw. She then hid it in her room and decide to see Mike, her boyfriend.
