“She‘s you from another timeline?” Kitty asked in confusion.

“Yes, she… look, I’ll tell you what she told me.” Kumiko choked in her tears. “Years ago, when I - she, found Kitty’s wand, she fought crime like I do. But when she lost against some villain named Centurion, the public turned on her. So she stopped being Magical Girl Kumiko, and became The Goddess of Shadow and eventually took over her world.”

“But what is she doing here in our timeline? Is ruling one world not enough for her?” Asked Guardian Devil in anger.

“Gwo, gwake gwit gwrom gwe, gwit gwever gwis.”

“Apparently, she envies me since I never went through what she did. That’s why she wants me to suffer.” Kumiko vision was blurred by her tears. “I can’t believe it. Could _I _be that evil, if something like that were to happen to me? Could I be that easily turned?”

“No. At the very least not anymore.” Kitty stared her in the eyes. “This happened years ago to her, when you to were still rookies. You were a lot more easily impressionable back then. I don’t know if this would’ve happened to you here back then, but now I know you would’ve persevered.”

“I know so. You’ve really grown these past years.”
