what happens next?
Caught by the dress...
The duo quietly made a plan.
One would go approach her and the other would cut her off around the corner.
"Miss Merced- what are you doing here?"
She saw the young man and knew who he was.
She had spent years complaining about him, be it playing in the street, playing music too loud or, ironically, not playing outside 'when he should.'
"I was just checking the...um..."
She starts to run, although her heels weren't exactly made for it.
Joey smiled and just waited.
Billy came around the corner and grabbed her by the arm, stopping her cold.
She tried to pull away, so he grabbed the hem of her dress.
Stopped again.
"You can keep that dress and stay here," Billy says with a smile, "Or..."
He leaves it open to her interpretation.
What does she do?
Write one chapter of a story, and let someone else write the next.
