Nu Uses Her Drive

Recovering from the recent gash in her arm, Nu quickly retaliated, swinging her left leg at Penny. The android would weave under the attack, but wouldn't go uninjured as Nu-13 used the momentum from her previous attack to spin herself in the air, allowing for her right leg to strike Penny in the face. Penny slid back a bit, her aura flickering as the Murakumo Unit's bladed footwear slashed across her face. The redhead's brows furrowed as she glared at her opponent; her body twitched as she prepared to make her next move but was soon interrupted by Nu lifting her arm up and pointing it at her.

Time slowed from Penny's perspective as she began to analyze the situation in front of her. The silver-haired girl hadn't gone for a strike; she was simply just pointing at her like before when she had commanded the blades behind her to launch toward her, but they did not budge from their position. So, then, what was she up to? Her emotionless expression didn't give away what her thoughts were. And then suddenly something appeared right in front of Penny. A pitch-black void with a red outline around it. Penny's eye widened, and she barely managed to move herself out of the way as a blur shot past her from out of the void. It was a black blade with glowing orange highlights running through it. The black sword would dissipate upon contact with the wall that used to be behind Penny, leaving a stab mark on the steel surface.

This was a result of Nu's Drive, a unique ability that she had, Sword Summoner. Nu could control the very fabric of space around her to open rifts in it, allowing her to summon extra swords from the holes in space she created. This made the Murakumo Unit even deadlier, as now she could attack from any angle with just the motion of her hands.

Having leapt to the left in order to dodge the black blade, Penny was now even further away from her opponent than before, which was good for Nu-13. The Anti-Sankinshin weapon craned her left arm back before swiping it in an upward motion, causing a rift to open below Penny's feet. The android sprang backward just as another black blade flew from out of the void, "Deploying rifts." Nu announced, causing another rift to appear below Penny while she was midjump. The redhead activated the thrusters on her legs to propel herself backward, avoiding yet another blade. But as Penny moved further back, more rifts opened below her, following her as she flew [back.

It didn't take Penny long to realize that going back wasn't going to help with this ****, and quickly launched herself upward to give herself more time to react to the rifts that opened below her. She was lucky that the room she was fighting in was quite spacious. "You really like your swords, don't you?" Penny shouted to her opponent from above, taking note of the white-haired girl's consistent sword theme.

Nu's face remained as blank as ever. The Murakumo Unit then spoke, though it wasn't a reply to what Penny had said, "Altering space!" Nu announced. Penny awaited for a rift to open in front of her, but was soon taken aback when she felt something dig into her shoulders from behind. Glancing behind her, Penny could see another blade, this time a crescent-like saber in shape. Penny let out a painful grunt as the blade tried to pierce through her aura, which soon dissipated after dealing a good amount of damage to the android's aura reserves. Before Penny could do anything, she spotted another rift open next to her in the corner of her eyes and quickly performed an evasive maneuver to prevent the blade that came out of it from touching her. Unluckily for the Protector of Mantle, several more rifts would open up, each launching a blade at her.

The android gritted her teeth as she flew around the room, barely avoiding the blades as they came out of the rift. The rifts opened up all around Penny, from above, below, in front of, and from the left and right. They were nonstop with their ****. Penny looked down to see Nu commanding the rift from down on the ground, conducting every opening with the wave of her arms, like meistro of blades. If she wanted to stop the blades, she'd need to attack the one causing them. The redheaded girl ordered the entirety of Floating Array to fold into its gun form, each sword glowing green as they prepared to fire beams down on their target below.

Nu watched as ten green beams rained down upon her. "Evasion!" Nu-13 vocalized as she narrowly avoided each of the beams. Though Penny would not let up, now that the rifts had stopped opening up, she performed a sweeping motion with Floating Array to try to hit her with the beam. The Sword of Hades quickly floated away from the beams, avoiding them by heading up and toward her opponent. Upon seeing Nu rapidly approach her, Penny stopped firing and unfolded Floating Array back to its sword form. The thrusters on Penny's leg launched her down at a speed that broke the sound barrier. The two girls were headed for a head-on collision. Penny balled her hands into fists while Nu held her arms out, her hands clawed. But, right before the two collided, Nu suddenly disappeared.

"Wha-" Penny yelled in her disconcerted state and immediately began to scan the area around her, trying to find where her opponent had gone. Her scanners soon picked up on something behind her, causing Penny to wipe her body around. Nu was right behind her, with multiple rifts opened, each angled to launch a blade toward Penny. She had used Act Parcer, a short-ranged teleportation move, to get behind Penny. A result of Nu's ability to control the fabric of space.

A sadistic grin soon crept upon Nu's formerly emotionless face. "Nu's gonna get you~." the white-haired girl taunted in a singsongy tone, her face only inches away from Penny's.
