Vampires again

"No, no, no, no... please God, no..." you murmur as you reach Jenny. There is so much blood. There are countless small entry wounds with small chunks missing from her left shoulder and arm. You immediately move your shaking hand to her nose to check if she is still breathing, and you are relieved that she is not dead. While her breathing is shallow, it's still there.

"Thank God!"

You immediately inject every **** that Mia gave you in an attempt to stop the damage. You can see that the talisman has shattered, probably doing its job. You'll be eternally grateful to Anna if Jenny recovers after this. You'll even leave her cat alone.

"You'll be fine... You have to be..."

"Is she okay?" asks Leyla from behind. That was the moment you realised you were not out of danger yet.

"It's not over." You need to bring her back to Mia as fast as possible. "She will be... Let's go!" You respond as you take her in your arms and carry her back.

"Let me help you."

"It's fine. I can do this!"

You see werewolves scatter in every direction, trying to spread out and avoid getting shot at. Eventually, you make it so far away that the guns are no longer a problem. As you continue forward, you realise that you have a new problem. The werewolf corpses scattered around next to the vampire ones give you a pretty good indication of what is happening.

"Help me carry her," you say as you pass Jenny to Layla. You're a better fighter than she is, and you'll need your arms free to face your enemies.

Walking for a bit more puts you face-to-face with a crazy vampire. His eyes are strikingly red, and he seems happy to have found you. You can see his ecstatic expression as he leaps towards you.

He must be a newborn, freshly transformed because you send him flying with little effort. Who sees a Prime werewolf and decides it's a good idea to attack?

It turns out that there are a lot of people. It becomes more burdensome to make progress as vampire encounters become more frequent. They all attack you as soon as they see you, despite knowing they stand no chance against you.

The number of dead vampires is increasing by the minute, and you get worried that the trail you leave behind will attract unwanted attention.

The last thing you need is some random busybody trying to be a hero. You can't afford to waste time with them.

"Should we stop for a moment?" Asks Leyla.

"No, we can't waste time."

"But your panting."

"There's no end to them..." the problem is that they keep coming from behind, so you need to turn around to engage them.

You can't build any momentum.

You keep hearing mixed screams from all directions. Clearly, this is a planned attack. But why would humans work together with the vampires? And let them transform new people for their army nevertheless.

You're having trouble making sense of all of it, but that doesn't stop you from moving forward.

As all of you fled in the same general direction, it is safe to say that everyone is probably encountering this attack. Separating while fleeing the humans to avoid their bullets made you an easy target for the vampires, but that doesn't mean the situation will stay like that for long.

People start to move in groups, and you, as a Prime, naturally attract more of them as you offer more protection.

A bigger group also means a bigger target on your back.

"We can't keep going like this... Those who are injured should keep going while we fight. There's no point in waiting for us to finish every time."

By this time, the vampires no longer attack from the front. Every time two or three vampires come, the group stops while a few of you kill them. It's totally inefficient.
