New tactic

By now, your group has also grown to seven people if you count Jenny as one. You have one injured male among the newcomers who is unable to fight but can keep up with you without assistance despite his injury. The other three, two males and one woman, join you in fighting vampires every time.

The first time you implemented the plan, things worked great, as the injured kept going while you killed your enemies. Afterwards, you caught up with them with ease.

Eventually, the vampires understood that just coming three or four at a time would do no damage, so they started following behind without attacking.

It seems that a more experienced vampire has joined the newbies and is better at controlling the situation. Throwing a look back tells you that their number has grown alarmingly.

"We need to fight them now," you say as you abruptly turn around to engage the enemy. Just like last time, the injured continued moving while you fought. This time, however, they receive a different order.

"Ignore them; go after those who flee." Some older guy yells from the back. Those at the front listen to his order and try to go past you, but you're not going to let that happen.

"Stop them!" You say as you charge into enemy lines with the aim of removing their leader. He is one slippery bastard as he hides behind his member, and every time you get close, he manages to throw someone else at you, buying time. Fully transformed, the fledgling vampires stand no chance, so you are not scared to get surrounded by them.

Everything is happening very fast, and eventually, you catch his arm and pull him towards you.

"EVERYONE STOP!" you yell once you have him securely in your hands. Your scream managed to stop everyone, including your teammates. A few vampires that managed to escape and were just about to give chase turned back to see what happened.

"Tell them to stop moving, and you'll keep your life..."

"Fuck you!" he smiles. "Go after them. The Lady will reward us if we catch a Prime!" His words of encouragement appear to be having an immediate impact as the vampires turn around, ready to pursue Leyla and Jenny.

You can't let them leave, so you smash his hands to pieces. "AAAAAHHHH," he shrieks.

"I'm not done talking." You growl. "Nobody leaves!" you say as you punch him in the face, making sure his jaw breaks so he won't be able to give orders any more. While he might not be able to speak, his screams attract their attention, making them forget about his previous order.

"If your Lady wants a Prime, she should come and get one; I'm right here!" You quickly realise that this is working even better than expected. Not only is no one going after Leyla and Jenny, but you involuntarily attract every vampire to your direction, giving the girls a better chance at escaping.

So with that in mind, you throw him to the ground and start tormenting him. The more he screams, the safer the girls are.

"Scream more, bitch! Let your 'Lady' come and see me!" Some vampires want to attack you, but seeing you mistreating their leader, leaving no option to fight back, makes them stay in place.

Hearing the poor sod's screams, more and more vampires come from every direction. Before you are completely surrounded, one of the werewolves turns around and starts running. "Motherfucker," you mumble. Just when you think you've got the situation under control, one fuckwit needs to ruin it all.

Your cruelty rises in an attempt to distract the vampires from the running scumbag, lest they go chasing him and remember Leyla's group.

"Where's your whore of a Lady at?... Is she scared?... I bet she hides behind the trees, watching me beat the shit out of you." you taunt them.

"Watch your words, wolf!"

"The young Lady is not scared!"

"You'll die once she comes here." They yell back at you but refuse to engage in a fight.
