Route 2

After the return trip to Pewter and talking to Blue and Mom, it’s just about 6:00 PM now. You should be able to travel a little ways down Route 2, train for a couple of hours, then come back and go to bed at a reasonable enough time to still wake up by 7:00 AM. Heading back downstairs, you stop by the reception counter before leaving, so that you can get your Pokémon healed up. Nurse Joy, no longer busy, smiles at your approach.

“Good evening Red. How may I be of assistance today?” She asks in a professional tone.

“I would like my Pokémon healed, please. I need to get some training in tonight.” You smile cheerfully at the pink-haired nurse.

“Of course. Did you catch that Nidoran you were after?” Your brightness seems to make her drop her formalness, slightly.

“Oh, I actually ended up catching a Mankey instead.” You hand her your four Pokéballs, which she takes and starts the healing process on.

“Congratulations! Oh, did you end up having any trouble with the Overlord?” She asks while you wait.

“I did bump into him, but he didn’t wind up challenging me. He had already beaten a girl today.” You respond, feeling much less conflicted about that whole situation after talking to Blue and Mom, the… huh, the two most important women in your life.

“Ah, I see. And did you have any fun?” Joy winks mischievously.

You’re really happy you just got this sorted, because otherwise you would have balked at this question. Instead you answer confidently, and decide to be a little mischievous yourself. “I did indeed. Though only once, even though the girl was down for more. I had to hurry back, so I’m still pretty horny. Hopefully you have time for another break once I’m done with my training.” You return her wink.

She laughs at your openness, eyes sparkling. “Well someone is in a good mood. Hmm, maybe, maybe… Oh, machine’s done.” She removes your balls from the machine, handing them back to you. “Well, good luck with your training. Hopefully I’m not too busy tonight.” She makes a small kissing motion at you, giggling.

“Crossing my fingers! See you later.” You grin at her, then turn and leave the Pokémon Center. You feel better than you have for a while, and it seems your growing confidence is having an effect on you. You’ve got a funny feeling Joy will be on break when you get back.

A quick jaunt out of town by the south road later, and you’ve made it onto Route 2. You begin searching around, eventually finding a pack of wild Rattata scampering about. Perfect!

“Mankey, go!” You release your fresh capture, who begins hopping from foot to foot. “Alright, let’s try Low Kick.” The monkey spins on her heel, pushing off of one leg and driving the other RIGHT INTO YOUR FUCKING CROTCH OWWWWWWW!

“On the Rattata… not me… ughhh.” You groan in pain, doubling over as your violent little partner laughs uproariously. “Lets… try again… Low Kick the rats, please…” Mankey pulls herself together, and obeys you this time, her mischief apparently done for now. She scuffles with the pack of rats, taking the half-dozen of them down, but sustaining serious injury in the process. You need to keep training, so you use one of your potions on her to heal her a bit.

You search around a little more for wild Pokémon, but end up finding something else quite interesting instead. Slightly further in on the Route, battling together against several wild bugs that have wandered out of the forest, are Daniel and Kayla.

“Electabuzz, Thunder Punch again!” Daniel’s Pokémon rams its fist into a Weedle, electrocuting it and sending it flying.

“Pikachu, Quick Attack!” Oh, Kayla has a Pikachu too! It rapidly fades in and out of sight, slamming into several Caterpie whenever it reappears.

Come to think of it, this is the first time you’ve ever really taken a good look at these two. The few other times you’ve seen them you were either in a rush or distracted.

Daniel is slightly taller than you at 6’1”, with a thinner frame but more defined musculature. He has short, golden-blonde hair and pale blue eyes, and he’s quite handsome. He’s wearing simple beige cargo pants and a dark green t-shirt.

Kayla is relatively medium height for a girl, being 5’4”. She has a very light tan, and her delicate features and pale green eyes are framed by shoulder-length light brown hair. Her C-cup bust is wrapped under a sky-blue halter top that reveals her navel, her lean legs only slightly covered by a white miniskirt.

The two of them finish off the last of the bugs, recalling their respective partners and then high-fiving. “Nice work, you two!” You call out to them, making your presence known. They turn to you and, after recognizing who you are, walk over to you. Daniel grins cheerfully at you, while Kayla smiles shyly, a small blush on her cheeks.

“Thanks! What are you doing out here? Training too?” Daniel asks.

“Yup. Need to get ready for Brooke.” You reply.

“Same for us. You find that Blue girl earlier, by the way?” The blonde boy inquires.

“Oh, right. I did. We talked for a while, and I congratulated her. Plan on battling her tomorrow.” You tell him.

His grin widens. “That so? Good luck, she seems like she’d be fun to play with.”

“Oh, she is. Trust me.” You grin right back. “Speaking of though…” You turn and look at the girl quietly standing beside Daniel. “I certainly wouldn’t mind battling you either, Kayla.” You watch Daniel out of the corner of your eye, hoping this doesn’t upset him, but he just chuckles.

She flushes again, but her shy smile fills with confidence. “If you’re in that much of a mood to lose, sure.”

“Oh yeah? I’m in the mood for something, that’s for sure. Let’s do this!”
