Chapter 42 by sir oppenheimer sir oppenheimer

What happens Monday morning?

Morning classes, then free time.

You awake when the sun's rays start shining through your window. Even with the blinds drawn, your dorm room is illuminated by the morning light so you don't have any issues seeing yet. You start the day with a bit of stretching, trying to reach both ends of your bed. Now, fully awakened, you check your phone to see you only beat your alarm by about 5 minutes. You look over at your roommate and see she is still softly snoring, you guess she doesn't have any early classes today.

You don't have too much time to kill before your first class starts today, but you don't need to rush things. You get started in the bathroom getting cleaned up for the morning. Then, you head back into the dorm to get dressed. Today's outfit is a pair of short shorts and a standard t-shirt, designed to accentuate your legs as your best feature. Hopefully, that helps you give a good first impression given that you'll be meeting a lot of new people today. As you slip on the t-shirt, you find yourself reminded of how different it is compared to male clothes. You do like how the cloth clings to your skin and shows off your subtle curves, though. You try your best with a bit of makeup again, and once you have it looking okay you head out for your first class.

You find the room easily enough. It's not too difficult to navigate since there are not too many students wandering around this early. You take a seat at a random desk and wait for the professor. There's still some time though, so you dawdle on your phone like the other students. You safely assume they're freshmen like you and don't really know anyone yet. Then again, it's a math class so you doubt you'll be getting much social interaction. As the last of the students filter in, you notice the redheaded boy from breakfast yesterday. He gives a look your way, then takes the seat behind you. You're not sure if it's you or not, since the room is almost full by now and most of the other empty seats are in the front row.

Eventually, an older-looking guy enters the classroom and introduces himself as your professor. He starts off by taking attendance, where you learn that the boy behind you is Kieran O'Harris, Hare must just be a shortening. The professor goes on to let you know that he won't bother with attendance after the first week and that it's your responsibility to come to class and to get caught up if you miss anything. Things are really different than you're used to from high school. He goes pretty quickly into a lecture on derivatives, reviewing the basics of calculus for you. That takes you through to the end of class 45 minutes later.

Everyone exits the room in a hurry and you're no exception; you have your next class in 15 minutes and it's in a completely different building. There are more students around now that it's almost 9 am. You can feel more than a few pairs of eyes checking out your ass in your shorts. You head outside and across the quad to the science building. The sun is picking up now and you can really feel its heat beating on you. You feel a few drops of sweat run down the back of your thighs as you keep walking. Once inside, you find the large auditorium that houses your chemistry class.

You take a seat near the back of the hall, you figure you did well enough in chem in high school that this class should be a breeze. It goes pretty similarly to your earlier class, though the professor doesn't bother with attendance. You can't blame him, with the number of students here it would take up most of the lecture time. Again, after the lecture ends you head out toward a different building for your last class of the day.

Once seated in your digital art class, you can already tell it's more laid back than your other two today. Since there's a computer at every seat, there are only about two dozen students max for the class. The professor seems pretty laid back as well, letting you loose after going over her syllabus. Well, technically she said you could use the rest of class to work on your first art piece for the class, but you didn't want to be the only one left in the room so you left.

Now, it's about 10:30 am and you hear your stomach start grumbling. In your excitement for class, you had completely neglected to eat any breakfast. You could go get something to eat now, but you remember your plan to meet up with Velvet for lunch. You decide to hold out until then, and you try to find something to do in the meantime.

You could head back to your dorm room and see if Emily has gone out yet, try to chat up some freshmen around campus, or even check out the student union and find some info on the student clubs.

What do you do before lunch?
