A surprise guest

“Excuse me? Who are you?”

Surprised by the sudden voice behind you, you spin around and are greeted to the sight of your sister Gwen.

“Are you here for the party?” She asks.

The party! That’s right, you and your sister were hosting a massive pool party while your parents were away today.

“Yes! The party! John invited me, but I got here a little early and he told me to wait here until he got back.”

That lie was quick and messy, but you hope your sister bought it.

“Oh, ok.” Gwen responded. “You can wait out by the pool too if you want. Everyone will be here in a couple minutes.”

“Sure! Thanks!”

That was close, you don’t know how you could ever explain this to your sister. Following her recommendation you go downstairs and then into the backyard where the pool is. With only a couple of minutes until the party started, this was probably going to be your last chance to do anything in private.
