Wait... Isn't Neo a part of their team too?

"Well, don't let me get in your ways. I'm sure you two can handle yourselves," Roman flippantly remarked as he began to stroll somewhere else.

The encounter had not been planned but Roman welcomed it. He got to see the woman who had been such a looming threat to his safety getting her comeuppance. Neo would be amused-

Halting in his tracks, a cold sweat crept through Roman as he realized.

Neo had been pretending to be a part of Cinder's team too. Once or twice, when she was needed. He hadn't seen her this evening. Had she... Was she here too?

No.

Running back to Cinder, Roman chokingly asked, "WAS NEO WITH YOU?"

It was Emerald who answered him, also showing concern, "Yeah. She was. I don't know where she went, though. Some of the Grimm are forceful. One probably took off with her."

No.

Roman staggered for a moment, before breaking into a sprint. Occupied Grimm and huntresses were everywhere. He was barely careful enough not to trip over any of them as he ran.

"NEO!" he called, over and over again.

How could he have been so stupid? Why had he not thought this would happen?

When he reached the end of the fuck fest, he ran the other way, searching still.

Caught up in his panic, he neglected to look out for a leg in his way. He tripped up and fell to the ground. Cursing to himself, he slammed the ground, letting out his frustration.

He had to find her.

Getting up, he spotted a small lady in the distance. She was being surrounded by three beowolves. Two were holding her up by her hands, while the third was below her with its penis in her. They had ripped a lot of her clothes - which most of the other girls had deliberately stripped out of - and were playing with her small body.

He hadn't given it much thought, but Neo would have needed to disguise herself to be undercover here, and it was certainly within her ability to do so. The lady he was looking at had pigtails, black hair and green eyes. Eyes that were tearful. A face that was scared.

She wasn't enjoying this.

She was -

"NEO!" Roman screamed, lifting Melodic Cudgel and blasting the offending beowolves.

All of the Grimm in the area were alerted to the commotion, snarling aggressively at the violent act and the angry aura wafting from the man.

Roman didn't care about them at all. He made sure to finish the beowolves off and was immediately at Neo's side.

"Neo! Are you- I'm so sorry."

Neo was shaking, still in shock. This was the first time she had ever been to one of these huntress classes. Cinder and Emerald had insisted, so as to not appear suspicious. She hadn't expected it to be... she had been...

Returning to awareness, she stared up at Roman, who was holding her where she lay. Seeing his face. Him seeing her like that.

Neo broke down.

Sniffling turned to silent bawling as she clutched onto Roman as though her life depended on it.

Roman lost it too. He wept with her, between muttering apologize.

What had he done?

"I'm so sorry, Neo. I'm so sorry."

How could she forgive him for this? Would he want her to forgive him? Why had he done this? What was wrong with him?

"EXCUSE ME!"

Roman looked up to see the disgruntled face of Glynda Goodwitch. Far more roughed up and semen-smeared than he had last seen it.

"What do you want?" Roman barked.

"Your weapon has disturbed the Grimm. Because of you, we'll have to waste time riling them back up again."

Roman didn't care. Neo needed looking after. He'd use the book to take them to his safehouse and clean her up. That's the least he could do after this.

"And you," Glynda pointed to Neo, who was barely able to turn to look at her.

"What is the meaning behind those tears? You want to be a huntress, don't you? Don't you realize what an honor it is to be in your position? You should accept those Grimm with a smile. Now get up."

Roman bared his teeth. On second thought, he'd take them to his safehouse right after he finished up here first.
