Team CMNE enter

They couldn't explain exactly what it was, but all the girls of team CMNE felt great today. Mercury was the same laid-back snarky guy as ever, but he was picking up the good vibes from the team leader.

They typically keep themselves locked away in their room. However, they didn't have any food in their rooms and thought they could risk coming down, just to grab some breakfast.

They noticed that there was some commotion going on with a guy and a rabbit faunus. That wasn't too out of sorts, though. In fact, outside of some men, the place was actually quite orderly.

"Mercury," Cinder asked calmly, "You go up and get us a standard breakfast."

"Sure. Whatever you say," he replied, not really bothered with the order. It was a small job anyway.

He was passing by the Winchester guy and the rabbit faunus that he couldn't remember the name of.

Passively, he overheard Winchester say, "The girls just let us do whatever we want now," to his fellow teammates, as he, to Mercury's shock, was groping the bunny's breast, while shoving two fingers in and out of her mouth.

Mercury had only noticed what he was doing with her as he walked around. He, along with every guy in the room, was gawking at the scene, unsure how to process it.

What was weirder was that the faunus girl appeared very accepting of it. Not only that but accommodating, allowing him to handle her like this.

In fact, now that Mercury was really looking, he also noticed that most of the women in here were looking a little too... content about all this. Many were watching the two unsympathetically and some were even smiling at it.

Mercury was still staring, instead of looking where he was going. He ran into the side of someone, leading him to instinctively shove his wait, pushing them away as he took a reflexive step back.

He saw who was now on the floor. It was Glynda Goodwitch. Fuck. He had just shoved a teacher, and everyone was now staring at them.

"I-I uh- whoops. I'm... I'm sorry." Mercury tried to keep a chilled-out attitude, but that was hard. If he got in trouble with the school, this could put Cinder's entire plan into jeopardy.

However, adding to Mercury's growing list of oddities today, Glynda actually smiled back up at him and said,

"It's alright Mr. Black. I don't mind you shoving me."

"O-kay?" Mercury responded, skeptically, "So I don't have detention or anything?"

"Oh heavens, no. I'm not going to get in the way of your violent tendances, by punishing you like that. You should be able to shove people to your heart's content," she said, getting up and continuing to walk.

"That was... That was something," Mercury chuckled.

Finally, he got in line. Then, a thought occurred to him. Looking over at the line: all girls. Looking over at Glynda, who was walking away. Mercury did a little experiment.

Grabbing the shoulder of the girl in front of him, causing her to turn and look at him confused, he sternly said, "Shove off, I'm cutting the line," and then pushed her aside and took her place in the queue.

Mercury wasn't sure what reaction he was expecting, or wanting at this point. Nevertheless, the girl did not looked perturbed at the act. She actually smiled at him.

"No problem at all, mister. Sorry I was in your way."

She then joined the queue again, behind Mercury. The expression on her face was what was so striking; he had just acted like a jerk and she was glowing, as though he had made her day. Looking forward, he noticed that the girls ahead of him were sparing glances back, as though they were jealous.

Mercury was well beyond pushing his luck by now.

"You ladies better let me through to the front, or I'm gonna **** you out of the line one by one."

The girls literally squealed in delight, as though he had just called them all beautiful or something, and each stepped aside, letting him through, which he took advantage of.

Mercury ordered his meals, got it delivered on a tray and made his way to leave. All the while, those girls hadn't complained or told him off or reported him. Nothing.

"Strange day, indeed."
