Rejuvenated as ever

You hear the sound of a phone alarm going off. Groggily, you open your eyes. Amy is still there, holding on to you tightly as if she was hanging on for dear life. You can see her start to stir too, as the alarm disrupts her sleep.

"Good morning," she says as she loosens her grip on you and stretches out.

"Well, you're close," you said, teasing her as usual. "It's actually 11:30."

She grabs her phone off the pile of clothes and looks at it, saying, "Close, it's actually 11:31...fuck, we gotta get ready!"

"Huh?" you say, startled by her sudden change in tone.

"My parents are a minute away!" she exclaims, jumping off the bed. "Quick, get dressed!"

"Shit!" you said, quickly jumping off the bed and grabbing your clothes.

Hurriedly, both of you got dressed, and sat on the couch acting like you were surfing through a movie site when her parents walked in.

"Hey kiddo!" Mr. Pearson said when he walked in the door. "What have you two been up to?"

"Eh, not much. We went and got food at Ryan's while we were out," Amy responded, not giving a very committal answer.

"That's nice, did you have fun?" her mom asked, coming in the door after her dad.

"Yeah, we did. The food was great," Amy answered. She shot a knowing glance at you, undoubtedly because of her mom's "Did you have fun?".

"Hey, remember the Hartfields?" her mom asked. "Apparently they were-"

Their voices trailed off as you walked into your room to assess all of the notifications that the Affection Multiplier was trying to get you to address while you were with Amy.

Hmm...so it seemed like the first one was kinda a waste of points. Although, what did you need lust points for anyways?

No, it still was a waste of points. You had some sort of magical app that already makes people like you better, it's not exactly imperative to upgrade your eyes for crying out loud. Plus, your vision was 20/30, which wasn't really that much worse, so the eye correction wasn't necessary. Maybe if you ever had an abundance of points, you could buy it, but not now.

First Lover's Pride seemed like something you would want though. Amy was really a jealous person, and this would help down the line. It really did seem like the app was going to let you have multiple lovers.

Although...would that alter her personality at all? You didn't want to change her personality beyond that, and, if you're being completely honest, her making fun of you was endearing, in a way

Maybe you should just settle for A Helping Hand right now, because you had enough points for that after the gift. You could buy both of them, because they use a different type of currency, but what about Amy's request, where she wanted you to tell her if you were going to buy something for her? That would be very suspicious, almost like you're out to replace her.

But then again, there was the problem with A Helping Hand too, which was basically telling you what people were thinking. You weren't directly influencing people's lives with it, but it was still giving you telepathic powers, which could basically let you into people's minds. What if they didn't want you to see what was in there?
