Asami, Who Else?

"Hello!?" Luna asks a little too loud as she answers her phone. "We're up on the floating rocks... Already?... Yes, they're both here... Okay we'll be down in a second." Luna says before hanging up and putting her phone away. "Asami says dinners done, let's go!" She says jumping into me and I chuckle. I'm glad the questions have been put off, for now anyway. I think before picking her up and turning to Gaia.

"Are you able to fly now, or do you need time?" I ask, unsure if remaking her body tired her out or not.

"I can, for a bit. But I'm out of mana so I won't be able to move too fast." She says before a pair of angelic wings sprout from her back. They're white and made of feathers. All in all, they remind me of angles wings from fantasy games. I nod and tell her to follow me. I take my wings out and jump off. Gaia and Innu follow me and I land a short distance from the cabin. Gaia lands next to me as I set Luna down, Innu's already landed. I look at Gaia and see she's panting. I curse myself for not landing sooner before leading her to the cabin. We walk slowly to the cabin while Innu and Luna ask Gaia their questions.

"Gaia, what's it like being a Goddess?" Innu asks.

"It's about the same as before. I did get stronger but that's about it. My life span changed too, as long as I don't get killed I should live forever." Gaia answers.

"How did your body change? Is this what you looked like before you became a Goddess?" Luna asks and Gaia chuckles.

"No, I was very different before. According to Verona, the Goddess of Knowledge, all Gods and Goddesses have their bodies changed when they ascend. As far as she can tell the change is decided by the person's subconscious. For example, I use to have a much smaller chest size. I also used to be self-conscious about them. That's why mine are so big now." Gaia says, a little embarrassed.

"Did you want your boobs to be this big?" Innu asks bluntly.

"N-no, I did wish they were a bit bigger. But not this big, I didn't have any choice in my body's change. It just happened, so I didn't choose this size." Gaia answers and before Luna can ask her question I interrupt.

"We're here." I say and the others look up. They had been walking behind me, with Innu and Luna on Gaia's sides. They were facing each other and not the road so they didn't see we were getting close.

"This place looks lovely." Gaia says upon seeing it and the girls smile.

"It's amazing!" Innu says before Luna's phone rings. Before she can answer it, the ringing stops. A moment later Asami opens the front door.

"There you are, what took you guys so long?" She asks, not seeing or noticing Gaia just yet. Gaia walks forward, causing Asami to notice her.

"Sorry, I'm out of mana and slowed them down." She says and Asami smiles.

"It's fine Gaia, Eric! Why didn't you tell me you were getting Gaia?" Asami asks me angrily causing Gaia to look at her surprised.

"I didn't know what she was going to do afterwards. I wanted to make sure she could avoid your questions for a bit." I say and she sighs before motioning for us to come inside. We walk inside and sit down at the table, Ramia's already sitting at the table.

"E-Eric, could we talk in t-the workshop later?" Ramia asks.

"Yeah, we can after dinner." I say as the others sit down. "Ramia, this is Gaia." I say introducing her and she nods. Gaia looks at her a little surprised before clearing her throat and smiling.

"It's nice to meet you Ramia, I hope we get along." Gaia says and Ramia nods. We eat dinner together while the girls barrage Gaia with questions. Most of them are questions about how she became a Goddess or what happened afterward. She skimmed most of the details but she said she ran and hid after the wars ended. Then she wandered around until Verona found her and explained what happened. After that Verona helped her join the guilds that ran the Lyna world until the Guilds joined the world's governments. Then she started working with them. Gaia does ask how Asami knew who she was. I had forgotten that Asami saw Gaia in my memories before. After we finish eating Innu and Luna take the dishes back to my apartment.

"Asami, could you show Gaia around for me?" I ask Asami and she nods. "Thanks."

"Where are you going?" Gaia asks as I walk to the stairs. Ramia already went up after eating. She's just as shy as ever, hardly talking during dinner.

"Ramia wants to talk about something. Oh, and don't worry if you think you've offended her. She's pretty shy, but I promise she's nice and kind when you get to know her." I say and Gaia smiles.

"Thank goodness. I was worried I had made her mad. She kept glancing at me during dinner."

"Gaia, just a warning, but Ramia loves Alchemy. So she might ask for some blood samples. That's probably why she was staring. She was probably thinking about what kind of effect your blood, maybe even your hair or something else, could have." I say causing her to chuckle.

"Well tell her that if she wants some blood or hair she can ask. As long as it's not too much I'd be happy to help." She says and I thank her before climbing up the stairs.
