Gaias Return

We appear back in the cabin's main room. The girls are still hugging me from my sides.

"Welcome back Master!" Asami says cheerfully while joining the hug.

"Hey, Asami." I reply while petting her. She and the others let go.

"Asami, what's for dinner?" Innu asks and Asami chuckles.

"Tonight I'm going to make some spaghetti and garlic bread." She answers before looking up at me. "Do you have anywhere else to be?"

"No, but I do need to do something before dinner." I answer and she smiles.

"Then I'll get started, making food for five people takes time. Oh and Eimbis, but he's not as picky." She says and I chuckle before taking her hand.

"Asami, could you make and set another plate out tonight?" I ask and she smiles and nods. She kisses me before disappearing back to my apartment. I wonder briefly why she didn't ask, but end up at the assumption she assumes Liz, Myla or Hino are stopping by.

"Alpha, what did we get in the Dungeon?" Luna asks before leading me to the couch. I sit and Observe the items while telling her and Innu what they are.

Lizardman Eye(7) Common Alchemy Ingredient

This eyeball was taken from a Lizardman. They have excellent night vision and eyesight. The eyes make great night vision potions as well as being able to slowly recover a person's eyesight.

Forest Lizarman Scales(25) Rare Crafting Material

These scales were taken from a Forest Lizardman. They are tough and sturdy making great armor. They contain their connection with the Forests. This allows them to increase, however slightly, one's ability to cast nature and healing magic.

Forest Dragon Scales(50) Mythical Crafting **Material**

These scales were taken from a Forest Dragon. They are incredibly tough, one of the toughest natural materials to exist. The scales contain the beast's mighty power to control nature. They can give weapons or armor new and unique skills as well as enhance any nature or life-related ones.

Dragon Heart Mythical Enchanting Item

This heart was taken from a Dragon, one of the four species known as the Kings of Monsters. It contains the Dragons' raw power and can be Enchanted onto any item or person. In order for the Enchantment to work it must be done with the proper equipment and by a master Enchanter. Even then, the Enchantment may fail if both the Enchanter and subject/item are too weak.

"That sounds good!" Innu says after I've finished describing the items.

"What are you doing with the heart?" Luna asks and I shrug.

"I'm not sure, for now, we'll hang onto it. If we can't find a use for it I'm sure it'll sell for a lot." I answer and they each nod. "I need to go take care of something, I'll be back in a bit." I say while standing up, they do ask to come with but I tell them no. I leave the cabin and fly to one of the floating islands. What I told Gaia earlier, about wanting to be able to deal with any side effects here, wasn't a lie. But I don't know how the others will react, let alone what Gaia wants to do next. So I make sure none of the girls have followed me. I sit down in the grass, under the shade of the tree, and close my eyes. I enter Gaias soul and see her standing in front of me. She has an odd green glow surrounding herself. It almost looks like a transparent blanket, but for her entire body.

"Eric! Are you ready?" She asks and I nod.

"Wait, can you fly? Or are you fine with me carrying you while flying?" I ask and she nods back.

"Yes, I can fly. Why? Are you in the air?"

"Kind of, I'm on one of my Domains floating islands. I just wanted to make sure you would be fine... coming back on it." I say struggling to find the right way to describe her recreating her body.

"Yes, that's fine. Sorry, but can we hurry up? I didn't realize how uncomfortable this would be. Stopping my body from being remade almost feels like I'm pinching every muscle I have into a ball. But it doesn't hurt, it's just uncomfortable." She says, repeating herself and I smile.

"Go ahead." I say before the green glow surrounding her bursts and I immediately get sent back to my body. I jump up at the sensation of being kicked out of Gaia's soul. I look down and see a green light, the same that surrounded Gaia, start pouring out of me. It comes from my chest and flows a few feet ahead of me, where it gathers into a ball. Slowly the ball grows and four limbs stretch from it. The last of the light flows to the top, forming a head. The light glows brightly, so much so that I have to look away and cover my eyes. The light suddenly disappears in an instant. I turn and look at where it was, surprised at the suddenness of the light vanishing. Standing there is Gaia, still wearing the white robe and looking down at her hands.

"How are you feeling?" I ask her and she turns to me with a smile.

"Amazing, I truly cannot thank you enough." She says before walking over to me. She hugs me and I smile, enjoying the feeling. Suddenly something crashes into the ground next to us. I turn and see Innu with her wings out putting Luna down.

"Master! Are y..." Innu starts before stopping when she sees Gaia.

"Sorry girls, if I had known it was going to be this flashy I would've warned you." I say. I piece together that they saw the light and got worried it was an attack, either by me or by someone else. They lower their weapons, apparently, they hadn't taken them off yet, and walk up to us.

"Did you not tell them I was coming?" Gaia asks me, having stepped back when they crashed.

"No, I wasn't sure if you were planning on staying or not. I knew they'd have loads of questions for you so I figured I'd give you a bit of time." I answer and Gaia laughs.

"No, if it's okay I'd like to stay here for a while." She says and I nod.

"That's fine, so Gaia. This is Innu and Luna, girls this is Gaia. You remember what I told you about her right?" I ask and they each nod before walking up to her. Before they can say anything something jingles from Lunas Spacial Pouch. She pulls out her phone, surprising me since I thought it'd lose connection in there.
