James made his way home and chose to relax for a bit before taking in everything that happened. Even now, he was still in disbelief that she said yes. He chose to call her tomorrow though since he didn’t want to seem too **** after all. When thinking about calling people, he remembered that he was supposed to call Amber and ask her if she was coming to bowl with us on Saturday. James figured that he might as well get it over with and decided to call her.

“Hey Amber, how’s it going?”

“Good. It’s unusual for you to call me, James.”

“Yeah, Mike is inviting everyone to go bowling on Saturday. Do you want to come?”

“I mean, I’m obviously coming, but why didn’t Mike call me to ask me himself.”

James sighed, “You know why. It’s obvious to tell that you want Mike, but Mike doesn’t want you.”

“He’s just shy. I know that if he dated me, then he would’ve been the happiest guy in the world.”

“Amber, at the very least could you change your tactics? Pretending to fall on your ass, so he’ll help you up, and showering him with compliments isn’t working for you.”

“Well, you’re Mike’s best friend so you should know what his type is. Maybe, if I pretend to be that kind of woman, then he’ll fall in love with me.”

“Amber, that’s unhealthy. You should just be yourself. I’m sure that Mike would appreciate you a lot more if you did.”

“No, that doesn’t work. I’ve tried that already and have gotten nowhere, please.”

James didn’t know what to do. He’d already tried getting her to see reason and nothing is working. He couldn’t give away Mike’s type of woman either since it would be a betrayal of trust and Mike would know that he’d told her. James decided to lie to Amber and tell her to become someone that’d not Mike’s type. Hopefully, this time when he rejects her, she’ll have no more excuses to lean on and can finally move on.

“Are you a goth girl that loves the color pink and black equally?”

“Yes, I am.”

Unknown to James, Amber's hair lengthened and started turning black except at the tips where they were dyed pink. Her wardrobe shifted from a variety of colors into ones with only darker colors in them except for pink. Her previous room’s aesthetic was no longer bright and warm, but darker and wearier. Even her blue cell phone was changed to a bright bubblegum pink as she continued to talk to James.

James shook his head at the lies coming out of her mouth, “You should have no problem seducing Mike then.”

“Thanks, I’ll see you on Saturday.”

James heard the phone click which signaled the end of their conversation. James felt exhausted after that phone call and decided to head to bed early. He didn’t want to think about it anymore for today.

Rebecca left the office and made her way home to her beautiful wife, Sharon. Rebecca opened the door and could immediately tell that her wife already cooking dinner. She could smell the pleasant aroma of cooked chicken from the entrance of the house and made her way over to the kitchen.

Once she got there, she took a second to admire her wife for a second before asking her about her day. Sharon’s slim, toned body was obvious even while she was wearing her pajamas. Rebecca knew that she worked hard at the gym every day to keep that body in peak physical condition and she loved seeing the results. Her shoulder-length brown hair, perky B-cup chest, and firm ass were just a few of the many traits she loved about her. The best part about her body from Rebecca’s point of view was her bright blue eyes that always seemed so innocent and expressive to her. Sharon turned to Rebecca and smiled at her.

“It’s great to see you home, honey. How was your day?”

Rebecca hugged Sharon from behind and said, “It’s always a great day as long as I get to see you.”

“Aww, you’re just saying that to avoid the question I’ve asked you” Sharon blushed as she continued working on dinner.

“I’m serious though,” said Rebecca as she squeezed her a little harder.

Sharon smiled, “I know, and I love you for that, but seriously tell me about your day.”

Rebecca released Sharon from the hug as she answered, “It was fine. It was a lot of work, but nothing I couldn’t handle.”

“Did you have to deal with any complaints today?”

“No? Why would you think that?”

“Sweetie, you both know that you’re a bit intense to people other than me.”

“I could get a bit intense with you right now if you wanted me to,” said Rebecca seductively as she gently moved Sharon’s face toward her and leaned closer.

Sharon leaned in as well but missed her lips and stopped next to her ears, “I know your tricks already, honey.”

Rebecca frowned in response, but Sharon laughed as she gave Rebecca a quick kiss on the lips.

“Come on, stop teasing me and seriously tell me about your day.”

Rebecca smirked, “Alright, but I’m going to get you back for that little stunt later. Honestly, it was a relatively good day. No one really bothered me, and I didn’t have any complaints flooding my mailbox or eardrums today either. However, I did win a prize from the company’s yearly raffle.”

“Oh, what is it?”

“It’s this silver ring. I thought it looked nice, so I put it on. Now that I think about it, maybe I should’ve given it to you instead.”

“No, keep that for yourself. You take care of me so much already.”

Rebecca smiled, “How was your day?”

Sharon frowned, “Honestly, it could’ve been better.”

“What happened?”

“One of my female clients at the gym was ogling me and flirting with me the whole time instead of doing the workout plan that I was trying to make for her.”

Rebecca sighed, “Your gym is still currently for females only though, right? I wasn’t sure since the previous owner of the gym died.”

“No, it’s not. The new owner made it available for everyone, so it’s not exclusively for women anymore. However, any guys that have been brave enough to go to the gym have been bullied by the other regulars and some of the staff to leave.”

“I’m glad that there aren’t any disgusting men there to give you a hard time, but I can’t say I’m pleased with the fact that woman is flirting with you there now. You’re my wife after all.”

“I wouldn’t worry about it too much, baby. I can reject another session with anyone who I don’t like, so I won’t be working with her again. On a more important note, didn’t you agree to cook dinner tomorrow?”

Rebecca began to sweat knowing that she was a terrible cook, but if she pushes Sharon a little to cook, there was a chance, she could get out of it.

“You want to cook tomorrow, don’t you?”

“No, you’re not getting out of this one. Don’t even try it.”

“Are you sure?”

“I guess not, but please don’t try to wriggle your way out of this again.”

“Alright, I won’t.”

“Great, I’ll set the table.”

Sharon finished cooking, and the two of them sat at the table to eat.
