"A story where the main character has complete control over every other character in the story either has no stakes or has an idiot plot. At least if suitable limitations or a suitable antagonizing **** aren't set up which... while him being required to touch them is kind of one, it's a pretty weak one, especially in a scenario like this, I'm not saying it wouldn't ever be a problem, but it's less of a problem. Now there are of course other ways this could go... the narrative could be person vs self, there might be no external conflict that isn't easily resolved, but the protagonist in this case Arthur might struggle morally with his actions or as this one might be setting up Arthur might end up in conflict with the source of his power as the mind in the ring clearly has its own goals. Oh and by idiot plot I mean there might be stakes if Arthur just decides randomly not to use his power to solve all his problems when he obviously could," Alide lectures.

"Great anyway yeah the next chapter, the problem is barely even a problem as even without his intervention it seems like it might have resulted in them both just deciding to fuck him, but he immediately puts them in a trance. "The scene is fine... no real issues, although 'Is that good sir?' should have a comma between the good and sir... I can't remember if this mistake had been made earlier, but comma's should be placed before any sort of address... like for example if I was to say 'you are a wanton slut, Dahlia '" Alide says, "I'd put a comma after slut, because I am addressing Dahlia, by name," Alide explains.

"Also... I'm struggling to tell if it's wrong or just reads weird, but 'Arthur guided Mata's hips' is a sentence all on it's own and while looking at it it seems like a perfectly serviceable sentence, it fits wrong in my mouth trying to read it in context," Alide continues, ignoring Dahlia's words.

I dare anyone reading this to guess who is saying the lines in this fragment '“Lick me clean.” She shuddered. “Yes sir.”' I am not being cruel and withholding context such as in dialogue directions, just scenario context, that is all we get in regards to who is speaking these lines. Now... with context it is after a few seconds of thought at most, clear that it's Arthur and then Kira speaking, but that is not made clear in the writing and the she shuddered seems like it's part of the dialogue direction for the lick me clean line doesn't it?" Alide argues.

"You get hung up on the weirdest things sometimes," Dahlia giggles.

"actually... Given this line near the end of the chapter 'The sounds of panting and sucking and fucking filled the apartment.' I'm starting to think the problem might just be that the author wrote this chapter one handed and in a bit of a rush as it were..." Alide responds, "there's kind of just an all around minor quality drop during this sex scene..."

"So arriving at work the chapter ends with Arthur finding someone waiting in his office... Who is it, let's find o-" Dahlia starts and then immediately cuts herself off, "- ah the answer chapter name just says it's his boss..." she finishes seeming disappointed.

"So... this chapter starts by giving us her name and indirectly explains that she is in fact the nameless tiefling from earlier if we weren't sure. Other than that this chapter mostly just gives us some new information about how Arthur's powers work. Mostly that his physical change is noticeable, but that something about the magic makes people seem to just write it off and slowly replaces their memories of him to fit the new him, which is cool also that the trance is apparently automatic for some reason as when she touches him she automatically enters a trance despite him not intending to put her in a trance. This automatic trance on touch thing is a bit weird... as he clearly doesn't put people into trances automatically any time they touch him... since he's touched Kira and Mata a lot without putting them in a trance and he had to intentionally put them in a trance earlier so... I'm not entirely sure what the rules are here. Maybe just the first time he touches someone a trance happens automatically... I can't remember if this was explained or not when he initially put Kira in a trance..." Alide admits.

"Well if it was, we're not go-" Dahlia starts and Alide cuts her off.

"-No this is important enough. We're going back to check!" she announces and Dahlia sighs. Alide begins to go back through chapters as Dahlia gets an evil grin on her face and slides out of her chair.

"Hmm... There is mention that once they've been touched they just have to be able to see the ring and then he says trance to put them back into a trance... So I guess it's just automatic on first touch and afterwards has to be intentional or so-ah!" she starts before suddenly stopping and pushing back from the chair, glancing down at Dahlia who is kneeling under the table and smiling up at her wickedly.
