Someone to love

"Wait, wh-" Andreas tried to ask, but then her lips found themselves suddenly on his.

"I love you."

"That rather sud-"

"I love you." Sally interrupted him again.

"But how do you kn-"

"I love you." She laughed. It was a music to his ears.

The rain started to free fall from the sky, coating them in water. But neither of them cared.

"It is either that, or I've gone completely crazy. And if it's the second one, then at least it's the happy type of crazy, and I don't want to go back to whatever normal is again."

Andreas opened his mouth as to speak, but she placed a finger on his lips.

"As for the why question... How else can you explain the fact that I've grown so incredibly jealous and rejected in the evening? How else can you explain the happiness that sparked within me after we kissed for the first time? How else can you explain the fact that I've been constantly thinking about you for the last few days? And even more, I've been thinking about you ever since we met. But now... It's different." She looked to the side, getting droplets of rain away from her eyes.

"Every time I'm not doing anything, you show up in my mind. And every time I'm focusing on something, my thoughts keep drifting towards you. It's like I'm under some sort of charm, or a spell, but I checked and confirmed it with Illy, you've done none such thing. Normally, I'd rather it was the truth, I'd prefer to be manipulated, ****, because I'd have a reason to leave. To be myself again. But I can't."

He tried to speak again, but Sally silenced him with a kiss in time.

"The truth is, we are changing because of the people we surround ourselves with. Drift towards each other. Adjust our interests and take new, unique angles into consideration when thinking about something. And I'm not the person I've been before coming in here. I learned and accepted so many things... Same way you changed, warmed up to me, you keep accepting my flaws, and now I hope we can be something more. You changed, Andreas, and it's a change towards me. I love that. And I love you."

She said, and held him in her arms, waiting for answer.

"Sally..."

He extended his arms towards her side and back.

"I love you too."

They say that the first kiss is the best one. That this initial magic of tangled bodies isn't one to forget, that the feelings exchanged are not comparable to anything else.

For those two, this kiss was the best one. The one after full confession.

There was nothing held back anymore, no more secrets, no more worries, no more you and I. It was them being in it completely together.

Sally reached down, towards his pants.

"I don't think that's a phone, right?"

"It's definitely not a phone." He responded.

"Then you are excited about this in more ways than one."

She joked.

"Mhm, there is no point denying it anymore. I do find you incredibly attractive."

"Incredibly? Good. Because you aren't that bad looking for me either."

She grabbed his definitely not a phone through the fabric of his pants, squeezing it, trying to get a feel of the shaft...

"As much as I enjoy this, we shouldn't do it on the street."

"Oh, okay. I seem to have forgot myself." She took retreated her hand. "We should go home."

"Yeah. I'll call Illy and tell her that everything is alright. And at home I'll have one more thing to explain to someone..."

"Lisa..." Sally sighed.

"Yes. I owe her a lot and she deserves some explanations. I want to stay friends with her."

The uncommon in this world couple used then a ranged communication device known as a cell phone to contact one of their friends, and headed back home. What they did not know was the fact that someone was observing the entire situation.

Someone was looking at both sides of this equation from afar and that someone tried to influence the outcome already.

Someone who didn't like what they've seen and decided that direct intervention is the best course of action.
