Change of the guard

“Well, given that Lucy doesn’t seem to think much of my authority as a mother anymore and that she isn’t willing to even apologise for her last remark to Miss Ryan, I think she needs a harsher punishment.” Mom started out, her words spiking your curiosity.

“Mom, I’m 19. I can do whatever…” Lucy tried butting in before Mom spoke over her.

“Yes but while you're under this roof you still need to follow the rules, you even agreed with Max’s rules when you voted on them even with them being…unconventional. And that proves my point. If you don’t listen to me then you might listen to your brother, I don’t know what kind of hold he has or had over you, but it seems that it's working if you're willing to vote for his rules.” Mom explained before continuing.

“So, I propose Max now be in charge of giving out punishments on my behalf for Lucy. He’s been less than discreet about his desires but if that's what needs to happen for you to start acting with a bit of remorse about how you speak about people then I’m all for trying it.” Mom suggested, finally getting to the rule she had in mind.

“And you expect me to vote for that? He’s just gonna use it to his own advantage and you know it!” Lucy protested, finally looking at Mom instead of not meeting her eye like before.

“Well if that’s what it takes then yes” Mom replied, not changing her stance even with Lucy confirming you would most likely be doing it for sexual reasons.

She wasn’t wrong either but at the same time, it didn’t seem right to set a precedent of a rule targeting just the one person like Mom suggested, an idea springing to mind that you hoped would have a lot more extra benefits.

“While I’m finding it hard to not agree with what Mom is saying, having Lucy be the only one being affected by what should be a ‘family’ rule, doesn’t seem fair in my opinion.” you put forward, setting the bait for your siblings to agree.

“Yeah!” Lucy enthusiastically replied.

“...I agree with Max as well…” Sarah murmured.

“So, I’d have to be in charge of punishments for everyone, including you Mom. You would tell me to punish Sarah or Lucy or punish me yourself but if you needed a punishment, it would be up to my discretion” You added, the three of them going silent as they each considered your proposal with different reactions.

Mom seemed to hesitate slightly but when she saw that Lucy was smiling about getting her way, she quickly made up her mind.

“Okay fine! My rule will be that Max will be the family punishment manager, including all of us. Me, Lucy and Sarah.” Mom ordered, letting you turn to see an annoyed look on Lucy's face as she didn’t expect Mom to follow through.

Lucy was usually considered the stubborn one but it seemed that she had originally picked up the trait from Mom.

“Well I guess we can vote then. Mom will you do the honours” you said, getting Mom to run through the process.

“Okay, All of you, close your eyes. Good, now raise your hand if you want to vote for my new rule” Mom instructed, with you actually going along with it this time.

You raised your hand and you could pretty much guess which way Lucy would vote but Sarah was more of a wild card.

“Okay, you can open your eyes now” Mom announced, trying not to sound too smug.

You opened your eyes to see Mom not even trying to hide her smile, looking over to Sarah to see her hand raised along with yours.

“Sarah!? Why would you say yes to that?” Lucy asked, looking at her in disbelief.

“You don’t have to answer that now if you don’t want to” you advised, Lucy shooting you a look of contempt.

“No, No. I’ll answer. I mean…why not? It’s not like I regret my decision. I don’t think I’m gonna get punished any time soon and Max doesn’t get to decide when I do either, that’s still up to Mom. As for the punishment itself, I think Max has more of a right to decide what I do because…” Sarah started to explain, her free use kink kicking in before she saw that Lucy had a troubled look on her face, making her backtrack slightly.

“...He’s the man of the house. Plus I’d rather take one of Max’s punishments than get grounded for a week if that makes sense…” Sarah continued, her voice getting quieter as she admitted more than she had originally planned.

You could see that Mom wanted to say something about the ‘Man of the house’ comment when your father should technically have that role but she stayed quiet, already knowing that defending him would make the tension with Lucy worse than it already was.

“So, I voted for selfish reasons” Sarah finished off, Hoping that was enough to shrug off any further questions from Lucy that might come her way.

Lucy didn’t say anything immediately to Sarah but you could tell she still wasn’t convinced and with Mom not voting this time, she knew she wouldn’t be able to convince everyone to revert their vote.

“I don’t even need to ask why you voted” she said as she turned to you with a scowl.

“I’m not that perverted you know? Not every punishment is gonna be as bad as you think” You replied back trying to defend yourself as Mom came to your aid.

“I’m sure there's going to be an adjustment period for all of us, including Max, so I’ll be discussing with him to make sure he doesn’t take things too far. Otherwise, I’ll be happy to revert the rule and return things back to the old system” Mom warned.

Today’s dinner had had an unexpected boon added to the mix and while you had been only hoping to get Rebecca invited to dinner, you had gained another rule to now spin to your advantage. As long as you kept Mom in the loop she was unlikely to try and take away the privilege you had now been granted and while you weren’t planning on losing her trust, the odds of her being able to get everyone on board were pretty slim.

Sarah pretty much considered herself to be something you control and while that didn’t extend to every one of her actions yet, it was bound to happen eventually with the KDK’s help. Again, you didn’t want to be a dictator that ruled over your subjects while they hated you in return. The best route you could consider was a carrot and the stick approach, handing out both punishments and rewards to keep everyone happy.

The KDK did help with this and when it came to figuring out what Lucy’s punishment would revolve around, you had an idea that sprang to mind.
