OH SHIT!

We open the door and I look inside. Laying inside, curled up in a ball, is a Dragon.

"OH SHI..." Myla starts but Liz quickly covers her mouth. The door behind us shut, but fortunately it is sleeping.

"Quiet." Liz whispers, just barely loud enough for us to hear. I Observe it and whisper what I read.

"This is bad." Hino says before taking a deep breath and looking at our weapons. "Here, after our trip in the Fishman Dungeon I learned a new spell." She reaches for all out weapons and envelope them in water. I thank her and think of how to start this.

"I have Fire Immunity so I'll get its attention by hitting it with an Ancient Beastial Slash to wake it up." I say and Myla smiles.

"And we'll improvise from there." She says and I smile. I slowly walk over to the Dragons head and the girls walk around it. They spread out and get ready. I get into position and take out my horns, claws, boots and cast Ancient Beastial Strength before casting Ancient Beast Slash.

The Dragon wakes up sees me. I can feel it gather mana. I stand my ground as it breaths out fire. As soon as it hits me, I start running at it. I jump and impale my blade into its left eye. thanks to its fire, it couldn't see me coming.

I see Luna and Myla attack it from its side and Hino attack from the other.

I see vines appear and I jump back. They wrap around the Dragons feet. I jump up and it opens its mouth to bite me. I pull out my wings and beat them as hard as I can. I fly out of its jaws and go father than I planned. I look at the Dragon and see it turn to Liz. It seems to know she's the one trapping its four legs. I sense it gather mana again. I quickly land and hear Liz scream. I see she's holding her staff in front of herself and the Dragons fire is burning though her roots. I quickly Swap with her and appear right before the Dragons fire touches me. I quickly get consumed by it and turn to the Dragon.

I charge at the Dragon and jump, stabbing it in the other eye.

The beast goes limp and I smile. I kick it again and again. I go to kick it again but feel someone hug me from my side, stopping me. I look over and see Liz. She's fine and has a worried look on her face.

"Calm down Eric. We're fine. I'm fine." She says and I feel Draconic Rage die down. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, are you?" I say stepping away from the disappearing corpse.

"Yeah, I just got a bit of a tan." She says smiling and showing her arm. On it her skin is very tanned and almost burned. I pet her and smile, while looking around. I see the others are sitting or standing a few feet away. I store away the Crystal Heart and we start looking around. We find the Dragons nest, a giant hole in the wall about thirty feet up. I fly up alone and look around. After spending a few minutes looking around, I find two items. The first is a chest as tall as my waist and the other is a small lockbox, about the size of my arm. It has a lock on it and it's a pure blue color. I use Observe on the lock after failing to break it open, even with my enhancements.

Impervious Lock, Mythical

This lock is made out of pure Magicalium. Magicalium is a metal ingot made entirely of magic. It is very rare and has many unknown properties. This lock uses this to make it only open with a specific key. The lock itself is practically indestructible.

I sigh and store the box away before opening the chest. Inside I see a set of armor. It is made of leather and chainmail and I can see runes carved into it. I use Observe on the Chestplate, Leggings and boots.

This chainmail and leather Chestplate was made for Adrea. He was captain of the Ancient Beast King, Malromones Guard. He wanted a set of strong and light armor so he could use his Cheetah speed without hindering it. This gives +60 Defense to your torso. Light Armor Bonus: +2 AGI.

Beast Guard Leggings Lvl 45, Legendary

This chainmail and leather pair of pants was made for Adrea. He was captain of the Ancient Beast King, Malromones Guard. He wanted a set of strong and light armor so he could use his Cheetah speed without hindering it. This gives +50 Defense to your legs. Light Armor Bonus: +2 AGI.

Beast Guard Boots Lvl 45, Legendary

This chainmail and leather pair of Boots was made for Adrea. He was captain of the Ancient Beast King, Malromones Guard. He wanted a set of strong and light armor so he could use his Cheetah speed without hindering it. This gives +40 Defense to your feet and ankles. Light Armor Bonus: +2 AGI.

I smile and think these would be great on Luna. I store the chest and the armor away. I do one final look around but don't find anything else and jump down. I use my wings to slow myself before I land and the girls walk up to me.

"So what did the Dragon have?" Liz asks and I tell them about the armor and locked chest.

"We might be able to help with the lock. Locked chests are common in Ruins and we know a few ways to open them." Myla says and Liz sighs.

"Eric, are you sure their wasn't anything else? All final bosses in Ruins have hidden loot." Liz asks and I nod. She suddenly grabs onto me and points up. "Take me up! I'm gonna check for myself!" She says and I sigh. I take her up, both because it'll be easier than dealing with her later and because I'm hoping she'll find something else.
