Getting to work.

As the three of you work on your presentation, you notice a few things. Scarlett likes to take charge, coming up with ways for her to be in control. Callie only really objects when there's an outright impossible idea, preferring to go with the flow. And Olive? It seems like she has opinions, but it too scared to say them.

"Any questions?" You and Callie don't respond, and it seems like Olive won't either, so you give her a nod, hoping she'll say something.

"Um...miss Friday?" Olive says meekly. "I think you're looking at this wrong. I think when you're advertising for a TV show, you have to make sure the marketing isn't obnoxious." She cowers as Scarlett glares at her, but the point is felt.

Callie pops into the conversation to give her input. "I have to agree, your ideas were a little over the top."

Scarlett can't believe she's being outvoted here. "Max? You don't think I'm crazy, right?"

And here's where you can play both sides and make everyone feel like a winner. "I think that Scarlett's on the right track, she is the most experienced out of us all."

"Thank you."

"Buuuut since this is the biggest job we've ever done, we're thinking in terms of scale over everything else. Olive was right about that. So we just have to tone back the ad campaign that Scarlett wanted to do, while keeping everything else about it. Works for you?" When you see the ladies all nod in agreement, you know you've done a good job.

Callie blows a whistle. "That's all the time you're getting out of me! We made good progress today! Woo!" She high fives you, Scarlett, and Olive on her way out. You can't really remember why you hated this chick.

_"Does she keep that on her all day?" _You think you yourself. You decide this is a good time to check their scores.

You think your scores should have gone up more, but you assume this wasn't that impressive to them. Still, you figure you should go for Scarlett to get her score in the positives, so you tell Olive you'll eat lunch with her tomorrow before lingering back with Scarlett. Before you can say anything, she speaks up.

"Thank you for defending me out there." You shrug, but she continues. "I know I have been....terrible to you as of late, I am very overcompetitive. But you stuck your neck out for me, Maxwell, and I have to respect that."

"Really, it isn't a problem, Scarlett. You're not just a rival to me, I'd go as far as you call you my friend."

"Don't push it."

"Alright." You turn to head out, but say one more thing before you go. "Oh, and if you ever need my help with the issue we brought up earlier, I'm here. You check your scores again, and what you see is very interesting.

You look up to find cold, mean, beautiful Daphne outside the steps to Scarlett's house, looking directly at you.
