Chapter 3 by CrimsonMonarch

Scenario Select

Hellborn Vigilantes

After staying in the human realm for a few weeks or so, it became clear to the High Prosecutor this small vacation was slowing softening her up.

After years punishing sinners, building up her image as the fearsome executioner of Hell, now she found herself laying on her stomach as she watched her new dog rolling from side to side in front of her.

Just as the realization hits her, she sees **** but to figure out a way to keep herself in shape until is time to return to the fiery pit she called home.

And that is what lead her to ask for help the only person she trusted with something like this...

*WACK* *CRACK* *SPLATTER*

"Alrighty then! This should do the trick, now talk."

And in sequence, lead to her finding herself in a alleyway from downtown, watching Justice interrogating a **** dealer.

"...hey, dude? You're there?"

No response came from the beaten man.

"Shit, did I overdo it?" She turned her head slightly toward Judgement's direction.

"He's just ****. But I highly doubt he'll be back up anytime soon..." She was quick to ease the former prosecutor's "worries", but not without sounding a bit annoyed as well. "Damnit. We've been on this for weeks, and we still have to accomplish anything..."

The both of them had decided to do some vigilante work around the city. After dealing with some petty criminals here and there, it didn't took long for them to settle on a more complex target: the local mob.

Unfortunately, because of Justice's clumsy approach when handling humans, who are quite more fragile than your average demon, and the reputation that the both of them got made sniffing out the mob far more difficult.

While Judgment was rubbing her head in annoyance over losing yet another lead, she noticed Justice getting down to one knee.

"What are you doing?" She asked, but the answer came without the need for words.

Justice was pulling on the man's jacket, sticking her hands into his pockets, in a attempt to find anything that could be useful.

Unfortunately, because of her blindness, Justice couldn't make out some of the things she managed to pick up, so she left those unidentifiable objects for her partner to examine later.

After they were done with the searching, Justice and Judgment made their way out of the alley, just in time to hear the sound of police sirens approaching.

...

Hours later, the duo had arrived back home. They moved to the dinner table, dumping everything they were carrying on top of it.

"Okay, so what do we got?" Justice asked while grabbing a chair and flipping it around before sitting down.

Judgment looked down at the table in silence. They got the man's wallet (With no money in it, for some reason...), some papers, business cards, and his cellphone.

"Alright Judgy..." Justice called out as she was she was flipping through a wad of cash. "We're should we start?"

What Catches Judgement's Eye?
