Pile of Papers

"There should be something here..." Judgment whispered to herself as she sorted through the small pile.

Amongst the useless stuff, there was something that caught the high Prosecutor's eyes.

She noticed one piece in particular that was partially burned, but she could see that there was something written on it.

She could vaguely remember that the dealer was burning something with a cigarette bud before Justice... did her thing.

Judgment held it up to her face as she tried to read what was left, but quickly realized that she wasn't going to get much out of just that piece alone.

She sighed for a moment before her eyes started glowing. Just like that, with a touch of dark magic, the message began reforming in front of her eyes.

The full text was an address, time, and a quick summary of what was going to happen when the dealer got there.

With that, the prosecutor duo finally had a lead...

A quick search showed that the address led to a abandoned construction site at the other side of town.

Who would've guessed that such a place would be just perfect for criminals to run their businesses through, far away from the eyes of the law.

By the time the first few black cars started pulling up, Justice and Judgment were already watching over the place from afar.

"Huh. Makes you wonder why nobody ever checks the place..." Justice comments while 'looking' through a binocular... with her sunglasses still on.

"...perhaps because it IS so obvious?" Judgment tried to rationalize, but she was too focused on the cars. "What matters is that we have to make sure that we get all of them. If someone makes it out, it will all be for nothing."

"You got it, Judgy." Justice grinned as she casually tossed the binoculars over her shoulder and into the tall grass.

Now, things were really getting heated.

After weeks of roughing random dealers on the streets, the Prosecutor and her mentor were about to take on the cartel.

After a while, it seemed that the last car had finally arrived. Judgment watched as the men inside stick their heads out to make sure no one had followed them.

"I'm pretty sure that's all of them..." Judgment said as she started to get up on her feet, with Justice following suit as well.

"Alright, then!" Justice cracked her knuckles with enthusiasm. "How do you wanna do this?"
