"What are you doing he-." I started to ask him, but was interupted as the gangster threw a small parcel on the ground causing a giant cloud of smoke to rise up.

"Agggh! What the hell *cough* was that? *cough*" barely able to see or breathe for that matter, you try walking forward to get out of the smoke cloud. The gangster was long gone by the time you managed to expel the foul vapors from your lungs. Moving on further down the tunnel, you leave charmander out of his pokeball, that way no one would be able to take you by suprise. After 10 more minutes of walking amd beating down 4 or 5 zubats, you round a corner and see another man in the black and red shirt.

"Hey there, have you seen any fossils?" His polite tone was refreshing after the last trainer you saw, but before you could respond he interupted you.

"Because team rocket is claiming all the fossils here. We will revive them and make millions of dollars in the process! Hand over the fossils you are hiding now! Go ratatta!"

The ratatta burst forth in the usual display of white light amd sparks before charging at me. Charmeleon quickly stepped in between of us and punched the rattata high into the air. The rattata hit a stalagmite and fell to the ground with an audible thud.

"Ugh! Now I'm mad. He was digging holes checking for fossils for me. Now I have to retreat with nothing to show for it!" A burst of smoke later and they were gone. Being more prepared for the smoke bomb this time left me better able to brace my lungs against the acrid fumes.

As the smoke drifted out, I noticed a small shiny grey stone laying a few feet away from where the gangster had been but a moment ago. Weather he dropped this or didn't see it I couldn't be sure. What I could be sure of though was that it was mine now. Tucking it into my backpack I move on down the tunnel. Up ahead now I can see a man swinging a pickaxe and alternating to a chizel every now and then around 2 giant rocks. As I walk up to him, I ask him what he is doing.

"I'm trying to excavate these fossils, but I need another hand to pry the bottoms loose out of the rock. If you help me I'll let you have one of them. There is a dome fossil and a helix fossil. Which one would you like?"
