A crying Woman

What she saw was a woman in the middle of the road, her face in her palms as she was bailing her heart out. Ciri got off of her horse and approached the woman slowly to not startle her.

" Are you alright ? Has something happened ? "

She looks up, her face red and wet from tears. She looks young, her clear skin glistening on her face from the tears. She has fiery red hair, green eyes and a small nose that nicely fits her face. Dressed in regular village clothes, Ciri is actually stunned by the beauty of this random woman.

" It's me little sister. She was taken by some sort of a monster. She was outside playing and then I just heard a scream and she was gone.

" When was she taken ? Did you see what took her ? "

" No she was gone in a blink of an eye. I only heard a scream and then nothing. "

Ciri put her hand on the girl's shoulder and smiled at her. " I'm sure we can find her. Where did this happened ? "

" At our house. I was inside and then she just disappeared. "

Ciri thought to herself about what to do next. She had to get to Novigrad but could she leave this poor woman ? At the same time it didn't have to be a monster as it could have been a regular person. But she had to decide if she would help her or no.
