An Unexpected outcome

The battle goes completely differently than you expected. Since Amber’s Charmander does not know any fire type moves Bulbasaur actually has a decent chance at victory in this battle. You focus on using a mixture of moves just as you had watched Blue do earlier and then you start to notice Bulbasaur gaining the advantage in the battle.

Eventually you realize that using moves like growl to lower the damage of incoming attacks has been your guardian angel in both battles. You watch as Amber commands Charmander to attack again and again yet each attempt does less and less to Bulbasaur. After one more attack Charmander is unable to battle. Amber rushes over and gets on her knees to check if her partner is ok. You walk over and stand over her, she looks up at you and says, “See you know what you’re doing its not all luck.” Amber continues to prod, “Come on Rory help me, what’d I do wrong? Why am I losing all the time?”

As much as you would love to help Amber improve, you can’t help but notice how beautiful she looks on the floor in front of you.
