Amber chooses Charmander

Amber extends her arm and locks her hands firmly on the ball containing Charmander, a fire type pokemon. She smiles and energetically lifts her arm to release her starter, “Alright! I choose you Charmander!” A bright beam exits the ball and gathers itself on the floor nearby.

The small orange fire type emerges from the light. Standing tall the Charmander matches Amber’s energy by lifting its tiny arms and letting out its cry, “CHARMANDER!” This small pokemon may be difficult to raise and will be at a disadvantage early on in a trainer’s adventure, however, in time it can grow into a powerful asset for aspiring trainers.

Blue steps forward while you are still distracted by Amber’s charmander and laughs. “No problem. If you’re going to pick the fire type be my guest. I’ll still be the best out of us three.” Blue confidently stares at the two remaining balls and reaches for one.

Amber looks back at him angrily as charmander stares at the two confused, “Oh yeah, says who? It’s just one pokemon a single type disadvantage doesn’t matter much when you can have a full team” She smugly responds.

Blue replies, “Well there’s no way you’re ever going to beat me and my partner” he clenches the ball in his hand and extends his arm in Amber’s direction. “Come on out!” A similar beam of light from when charmander was released from its ball shoots out of the ball in Blue’s hand and takes its shape by the floor.
