As the result of a one in a million chance at Hope's Peak Academy's rather oddly placed arcade, the character you follow has received the Ultimate Love Key. Upon obtaining it they would be visited by the ever so lovely and quite treacherous school mascot Monokuma as he explained its function.

"Congraaa~tulations lucky prize winner! You've just received the one of a kind Ultimate Love Key. This unlimited use key means you can take whoever you want to the Love Suite for a night of oh so steamy passion~! Passion that they will always be on board with. But wait, there's more! as your partner reaches the heights of pleasure they'll transform body and mind to fit your vision of an ideal partner. But be careful! It's a two way street, and as your own pleasure builds up, you'll change into their perfect partner. Try to be strategic, fulfill your desires while avoiding losing yourself to becoming someone else's wet dream. That's all for now, have fun you little pervert!"

And with that he was gone as quickly as he came, disappearing wholly behind the nearest solid object while refusing to provide crucial context for what he was suggesting.

But of course, being the devious bear that he was, he omitted a certain few traits of the key, first and foremost the subtle hypnotic effect it had on its owner, one that would instill in them a desire to use the key, even where they might otherwise ignore it. It wouldn't take long for even the most prudish person to be consumed by a burning curiosity to take it for a spin. And once they got a taste, they would find it quite difficult to relinquish that power.
