Ashley

There it was clear as day. Among the list of today’s names stood Ashley’s name right at the top. Gabby’s name was nowhere in sight.

Her heart sank. In a few hours some men would come and take her to the pound to be implanted. Ashley’s parents were stunned. Nick was laughing. “Don’t worry Ash I’m sure you’d make a great pet. We’ll be sure to spoil you. I’ll get you the nicest collar bed and toys money can buy!”

This didn’t make Ashley feel much better. She just hopped her family will choose to keep her and won’t take Gabby up on her offer. Gabby was the richest girl in school. So it was a real possibility.

The men finally showed up to her house. She was placed in the back of a van alongside some other girls. When they got to the pound they were stripped naked and put into cages. Ashley waiting on her hands and knees nervous about what was to come.

Her parents had followed the van to the pound. They waited on the other side of the cages with the other families and potential owners. Then she heard a familiar laugh. Gabby had come all the way to watch.

She took out her phone and took a picture of Ashley. “Everyone is gonna love this. Are you excited? Once they’re done with you here I’ll make sure that you come home with me.” Gabby walked away Ashley could see the mean girl talking to her parents through the bars in her cage. They were too far away for her to hear what they were talking about. It made Ashley nervous.

Then a woman in a lab coat went and got her. She was taken to an operating room where she was put under. When she woke up she’d be implanted into acting like some kind of animal.
