Chapter 11

What else can you gain from a lair?
Remodeling
The extra level has helped some. You’ve expanded your mana pool, flight actually works as flight instead of a double jump, and you have slightly more HP. Not bad overall.
The attic looks really weird though. The regional effects are intended for castles and creeping advances, so applying them to an attic just makes the whole building look discolored. Fortunately, because of the way the contract is formulated, the attic doesn’t include the roof, so nothing is visible from the outside.
You may as well move in up there. You definitely don’t have anything better to do. Unfortunately, you don’t have a bed, or any other possessions really, so there isn’t much to do.
Since you don’t have any possessions to move up there, you could see if anything got left in the attic. There might even be something you can use.
Empty Crate 3x, could be useful, but you don’t have anything to put in them. At least you could have a chair.
String, 30 meters. Regular string. Probably hemp. Not really useful.
Dagger (basic), starting equipment for roguish sorts. Not great for you. At least it’s sharp enough to cut the string.
Copper coins 60x, coin conversion got way easier when they introduced banking amulets. These probably are left up here from before that.
Darts 9x, there’s a special skill to create poison that could make darts worth throwing. You don’t have that skill.
At least there’s a spare blanket you can use. And an extra set of robes.
Robes of the Acolyte: Provides minor defense bonus to Arcane or Clerical spell casters. Actually better than your old robes. Just a bit too big.
New belt too.
Leather belt of minor storing. You can keep two small items in ready to access pouches.
What else can you find?

Game Monster
From Creep to Boss
You come into being as a low-level monster, the kind heroes chew through like popcorn. You know the drill, whether you're a player yourself or an artificial intelligence, and you're sick of it. You set out on your own quest: to defeat the heroes at any cost (or at least be an epic boss somewhere down the line).
