“Time to go back.”

They look at you in surprise Jonis frowns and tells you “But it’s only early evening!”

You nod. “We have to go around the badger’s field, which means skirting the tree line. We don’t know what dangers are in there. Thus a fair bit of extra time and possible dangers we will need to fight and recover from, or evade. We may wish to harvest stuff. Then comes selling our loot, and harvests.”

The guys grumbled and followed. Going into the trees you and Zandra take the lead. Zandra was to lead the group, but you soon found a few bushes growing berries and while the others passed you filled the bucket with them, and even ate a few. Heh you didn’t eat before so you deserved it!

Catching up with them you go carefully. Hmm, you see sighs of other things heading to the badger’s field and point it out, whispering to the others “Badger’s new minions.” As you watch you see some ferrets run into a hidden hole in the field.

Eventually you reach the left path into the woods you chose not to take before and follow it back to the town.
