Take a lunch break

The party takes a lunch break near some boulders and you point out they are the stone harvest nodes to work on latter.

You tell them “Listen before you assign your attribute points, I want to talk with you to plan how best to use them. That can wait. In the meanwhile I’ll stand watch during lunch. We can use the harvest node for protection if needed.”

While they have lunch, you not only stand watch, you go through Grrw’s loot bag.

Luckily you did not have to empty it all out at once.

Hmm, it must have automatically picked up loot bags from its kills, because there were 3 in there. One was the one you got the Claimant Crystal from before. Glancing through what you can take, you find a full water skin and take it as you need a drink.

After eating and resting you take your steel pipe to the harvest node and smash them with the others help. There were 5 of the boulders, each containing 4 Units. There were 13 units of stone, 2 of scrap ore, one of copper ore, one unit or marble 2 units of coal, and 1 ruby. The guys did not see the ruby as it was quickly gathered with the other units harvested by you and the girls.
