Chapter 4 by Otaku101 Otaku101

Wow!

Further testing

You wrote ‘John Tyler is now resistant to mind control.’

There was no telling who else had the application. For all you know, someone who hated you might get ahold of it and use it to embarrass you publicly by getting you to run around school naked or something.

From the test earlier, you determined that those under the control would not retain their memories of that time, seeing as how you did those pushups and had no recollection of doing so. You could be **** to sing karaoke on the street with boxers on your head and not even know or remember you were doing it.

You then wrote the same test of a hundred pushups again. This time, you were aware of your body moving of its own accord, and with a bit of focus, could break out of that trance. Alright…

Another test. You could hear your mom vacuuming the house downstairs right now. ‘Alison Tyler will do yoga for twenty seconds.’

You step out of your room and gaze down at the living room. Sure enough, there was your mother doing some quick yoga while holding the vacuum. She’d never just stop in the middle of chores to do yoga.

As she started cleaning again, you wrote ‘The lady in my house wearing the sports bra will do yoga for twenty seconds.’ This time, it didn’t work.

You tried other variations, but it seemed that you had to write the full name of the person you wanted to control down for the app to operate.

You could now determine the following:

  1. The app can get people to do things they wouldn’t be capable of doing otherwise; proven by your push-up prowess.
  2. The full name is needed for the app to work.
  3. People controlled will not remember their time being controlled.
  4. The command written will stay on the app until it is carried out.
  5. Only one command can be written down at a time.
  6. The command will take effect when the submit button is pressed, and cannot be altered afterwards.

This was most likely a non-exhaustive list (for instance, there might have been a limit of xx number of commands given per day. Or, what would happen if you tried to write down someone performing a superhuman feat, like if you wrote yourself to jump 60 feet high. Would you be able to do it? But if you actually did it, how wrecked would your body be afterwards from the physical exertion, and not to mention the damage you’d sustain from the fall.) but you’ve done enough deep thinking for one day. You go down to help your mother clean the house, and spend time just absentmindedly going through the motions (shower, eat, yadda yadda) before heading to bed.

Ze rules…
