An old loophole (Corruption)

There were some old rules built into the world that even the Gods seem to have forgotten. However, NPCs as those who call themselves Players call you, sometime learn and remember them, and learn to use the loopholes they present.

Those who discover the loopholes are careful to never let it be widely known, and most certainly never leaked to the Gods, for they would take away the loopholes.

One thing they had forgotten was a set of Laws they had created in order to prevent problems.

With them being in charge of many things, they often overlooked small details which could have massive results. For example, removing a hermit who was meant to give Players information they needed to keep a Demon Lord contained would result in some major issues. Expressly if the Demon Lord kept things hidden and grew strong in secret without alerting the Gods!

After that case during what was called the Beta World they started setting the Laws.

They were many, not even you knew them all as they were growing in minor ways all the time, but one of them was that a NPC created for a specific purpose, or assigned one on the core level, could not be destroyed, nor altered or relocated in any manner that would prevent them from being able to serve the purpose they were made for. For that protection to be removed he had to have the assignment revoked from him.
