Chapter 4 by Jpyric Jpyric

What’s the harm in checking it out?

Almost too easy

After Dave leaves, you sit down at the computer to check out this place he mentioned. Their website seems pretty barebones, but it explains things fairly well, with options to apply as either a “sponsor” or a “traveler”. There’s copious warnings about the traveler option, and you’re not interested in moving away anyway, so you discard that immediately and select the “sponsor” option.

You begin reading the information, and it does seem like a mixture of mail order brides and adoption, with a bit of cultural exchange mixed in. You’re sure more details will be provided, but the website claims to do most of the work of matching people with a “suitable monster girl”, whatever that means. Shrugging, you fill out an application. What harm could it do, it’s not like this is binding, and maybe this is what you need in your life.

After hitting “send”, you do a bit more research on what this place is. It seems that it only opened recently, and it’s called the Alternate World Integration Organization, shortened to AWIO. Further research shows a lot of backlash towards them, for no reason you can see beyond what boils down to simple racism. The other side is success stories you see, men with a monster girl, or several, seemingly quite happy. You’re surprised to see groups of three or more girls, all quite attractive, all clinging to their ‘sponsor’, and all with smiles on their faces.

As you read up on this, you find a rather bland scientific journal explaining in dry terms how monster girls differ from humans, and the main changes stem from societal differences. Apparently, harems are common, and relationships form extremely quickly, in a process known as ‘bonding’. It seems that monster girls choose their ‘mate’, and become devoted to them strongly, especially if treated well. The various species of monster girls are all a bit different, but the bonding process is a common trait.

You’re just finishing reading when you receive a notification. Opening your email, you find an interview appointment has been set up for you already! This AWIO works quickly! You read the rest of the information, and go back to the website to confirm your appointment. It seems you have something to do after work tomorrow. An interesting way to start the weekend!

Dave is definitely going to give you shit about this, though.
