A Reckoning

Brian casually worked his way through the den, drink in hand, and a friendly smile on his face. The teen was mingling with his many guests now, putting in his time, making sure more than enough people saw him so, in the event of things going wrong, he had his alibi. Thankfully, other than Mindy's little outburst twenty minutes ago, nothing was getting in his way, nor did it look like it was going to. Rachel was suspicious, but she always was with him, she wouldn't act unless she got a hunch which he wasn't going to give. Mindy was neutered at this point, she still posed a minor danger to the plan but he was confident that she was going to stay in her place. Then, of course, there was Anna, her messing around with Eric was important, but not necessarily needed, he just needed to keep her with Eric for a while longer, to make reasonable doubt possible.

Brian took another long guzzle of his drink and smirked, I missed this, everything going to plan, and me getting a win at the end of the day. Changing was the dumbest mistake I could have made. He thought to himself before his eyes caught sight of someone, a certain redhead who was now rested against the far wall near the exit, her bright blue eyes locked on him, and a sly, wanting grin was spread across her face. "Hmm, you know, I never did actually get inside her this week," Brian said under his breath as he casually nodded towards Nicole.

Nicole's smile grew, apparently, she was very eager to have his attention, and now that she had it, she was putting herself to work. She gave Brian a quick wink and the blonde responded with one of his own. Nicole crossed her arms and thought for half a second before giving her lower lip a needful chew while letting one hand slowly slide from her thigh up to her stomach. Brian's brow jumped and Nicole ran with it, letting her hand grab at the bottom of her shirt and slowly start to lift it up, showing off her toned stomach. Brian leaned forward, gawking as Nicole's shirt continued to rise until he could see the underside of her large breasts.

Yet just before they were revealed Nicole dropped her shirt with a giggle. Brian audibly groaned in disappointment but perked right up as Nicole craned her finger at him, beckoning him forward. With no hesitation, Brian shoved his way through the crowd of dancers and got to Nicole in seconds, "Damn, didn't think you'd be that eager," Nicole teasingly said as she looked up at Brian with a playful smile,

"You should know by now I'm not one to leave anyone waiting," Brian chuckled back, "So, need we play the full game? Because I'm willing to let you take me upstairs and fuck me right now,"

Nicole gave her eyes a slow roll, "How generous of you," She shifted her wait and let out a small whine, "Normally that would turn me right the fuck off, but I know what you have in your pants and **** loosens me up, so fuck it let's go, jackass,"

Brian chuckled as he took Nicole's hand, "I'll accept that title in trade," With a simple tug she pulled Brian out of the den, through the crowd at the base of the staircase, and up to her bedroom. As soon as the pair were inside the room. Brian kicked the door shut behind him and grabbed Nicole, pulling her to him. The redhead giggled and the two locked lips, "I should have known you couldn't stay away," Brian grinned as he lifted Nicole right off the ground.

With ease Nicole wrapped her arms and legs around Brian, planting a flurry of sucking kiss on his face and neck, "Don't get a big head, music and drinks just put me in the mood," She retorted before letting out a little gasping laugh as Brian tossed her down onto the bed, "You seem more eager than me, Bry,"

"Maybe I am," Brian grinned back as he went for his belt buckle, "Besides that, I do have a few more things I need to do before this party is through, so hope you don't mind it rough,"

"I prefer it," Nicole replied, an eager glint in her eye, "But I just have to know one thing,"

"What's that?" Brian asked back, all to happy to hear what Nicole wanted from him,

Nicole slowly pushed herself up with her hands, bringing her lips tantalizing close to Brian's, "Where did you stash Anna and Eric?" Brian's smile instantly faded away and he took a step back, staring back at Nicole in shock, "I mean, we looked all over the lodge, and we couldn't find them anywhere. Which means you had to have hid them somewhere we couldn't check,"

The blonde swallowed down his initial shock, and quickly changed expression to one of confusion "What the hell are you talking about?" Brian asked back, "I have no idea where Anna is, and if she ran off somewhere with Eric...that's between them,"

"Is it now?" A voice asked from behind the teen, and Brian swiftly spun around, glaring as he saw both Rachel and Mindy stepped out of the bathroom, "That's not what we heard,"

"Rachel? Mindy?" Brian frowned his eyes flicking to either one of them with a hard glare, "What the hell is this?"

"This is where you shut up, and do the right fucking thing, Brian," Rachel fired back, "Now tell us where Anna is, and then you sit there. Whatever you were planning is over,"

"I have no idea what you''re talking about," Brian calmly replied, not willing to be bested, "Whatever it is that you think I did, I didn't,"

"Quit lying, Brian! I told them everything!" Mindy venomously shouted out, "You're beat! Enough is enough! They know about Anna, the whole reason for this party, why you pretended to be with me, everything! So just stop!"

Brian let out a sharp exhale and narrowed his brow, "Oh so they know how you tried to sabotage Kenny's relationship? How you were willing to destroy whatever he had because you were jealous? Damn his feelings, as long as you got what you wanted, right?"

"Yeah, we know that part too," Nicole simply replied with a nod, "It's pretty bad, something she'll have to live with and pay for in her own way, but you? Manipulating a girls feelings for your sick ass gain, that's a different kind of low," Nicole

"Oh forget this, I don't know what you three wanted from me and I don't give a fuck, I'm out of here," Brian stormed towards the door,

"I wouldn't," Rachel calmly warned her brother,

"Fuck off," Brian sneered, yanking open the bedroom door only to freeze in place as standing on the other side of the door were both Kenny and JJ, "Oh...hey," Brian mumbled beforr JJ gave him a rough shove back, "Okay, alright, easy!" Brian exclaimed while holding up his hands,

"Where is Anna, Brian," Kenny growled as he stoically entered the bedroom with JJ just behind,

"Kenny, dude, take it easy. Whatever you heard, it isn't true. Your friend over there," Brian urged while pointing to Mindy, "She's a fucking psycho, she's been after your relationship from the start!"

"Where is she?" Kenny asked again, "You fucking tell me, right now,"

"I tried to help you, remember? Earlier today, i gave you advice!" Brian reminded his former friend who could only shake his head,

"You played me, got in my head just like you got into Mindy's. Targeting your friend's insecurities to make them act how you needed. I'm sure you did the same to Anna. What did you say to her? Where did you tell her to go?" Kenny glared down at Brian who was looking like a cornered rat, desperately looking for escape from his trap,

"I only tried to help you both! I...I'm guessing that she went to the library, I mentioned it was closed off, so it'd be empty. And if Eric is gone too, then they could be thete together! Either way, if she is doing anything, thats not on me!" Brian argued, finally giving an inch of truth,

"Library is locked," JJ frowned, "We checked that door, meaning you locked them in,"

"No, that doesn't mean --" Brian attempted to argue only to stop as Kenny grabbed him by the shirt collar,

"I'm not asking you twice, hell, I'm not gonna even do it once. You will give me that fucking room key and you will do it now, you sonofabitch," Kenny hissed, his face tightening and jaw locking tight,

Brian scoffed, "Mindy gets off scot free in all this, but I'm being put on the block for execution?!"

Kenny tightened his grip and yanked Brian closer to him, his eyes never once breaking away from the blondes, "Whatever issues I have with her will keep, but you're not slimming your way out of this one. Now, last time I'll say it, give me the fucking key!"

"Or what, you'll kick my ass? Is that what this is all about? You get to hit me, be the big man?" Brian gritted his teeth, putting one hand on Kenny's wrist,

Kenny suddenly let the teen go, his face relaxing until a look of contempt was all that remained, "No...No, you're not worth the fucking energy it'd take. I'm not stooping down to your fucking level. After all those fucking months of being friends, thinking you were capable of change, I should have known people like you never do. I'm leaving, I'm taking Anna with me, and I will never see you again, and that's just fine with me. You'll get to live in the misery that is your pathetic fucking life," Brian glared back at Kenny, "I'll break the fucking door down," He finished only for Brian to let out sharp exhale.

Reaching into his pocket Brian pulled out the key to the library and threw it at Kenny's chest, "Just fucking take the fucking thing and go, all of you, get the fuck out of here! I don't fucking need any of you!"

Kenny grabbed the key, and turned away without another word, "Pathetic, Brian, real pathetic," Nicole sneered as she sauntered out with him, "I'm catching a ride back with Devin,"

"Come on, Mindy lets go," JJ motioned to the girl who quickly moved to his side,

"Yeah, you take your crazy fucking whore with you," Brian grunted.

Like an atomic bomb exploding in his chest, JJ's eyes filled with nothing but pure rage. His fist tightened and he spun around, swinging his right arm with everything he had. Brian had only enough time to suck in the start of a surprised gasp before the fist collided with his jaw. Brian's feet physically lifted from the ground as JJ's punch sent him flying off to the left. Brian tumbled down, smacking a lamp onto the floor as he went before finally crashing with a thud.

JJ took a half step forward, staring down at Brian, his anger almost consuming him entirely until he felt Mindy gently tug at his shirt, "You...You got him," She whispered as she also stared down at the **** teenager,

"As far as I saw, he fell," Rachel said to the pair as she knelt down next to her brother, "You two go, I'll take it from here. Unfortunately, I don't get to rid myself of him,"

JJ let out a silent nod and gave his hand a small shake from the slight pain, "Sorry for the mess," JJ apologized as he took Mindy's hand and led her from the room, "Lets go get packed up, we're leaving,"

"Okay," Mindy softly agreed as she squeezed Brian's hand back, "B-Back to your house?"

JJ looked over to the girl with a half smile, "If you want," He simply replied with a shrug. Mindy gulped before nodding back with a small smile, "You got it,"
