Killing time… as an elf!

Without the cover of darkness, this job’d be impossible to pull off with so few. I actually still have me doubts about it now… In any case, we still have plenty o’ time to kill before darkness sets in. Gotta find a way to kill a few hours.

You take a deep breath inhaling the pine scented air of your surroundings. Gazing about the makeshift tent, your companions are in various states of getting ready for the ****.

If there is one upside about just bein’ a fighter, really cuts down on prep time. Not like I have to pray or some shite like Krest over there.

You snicker to yourself as you behold Krest issue his second prayer since you have set up. He holds his lance aloft as if waiting for lightning to strike.

Then again, if a little devotion gets ya to silver rank… Maybe it’s not so bad?

A familiar looking tent sits dead center in the middle of the camp. Seemingly Petra is taking part in a pre-battle nap as per usual. Also, a familiar sight is that Bax is nowhere to be seen.

Wonder if Bax ever takes it easy? He’s always hidin’ or scoutin’.

You cast a glance to the newer members of your team. Frost and Syvella chat closely while keeping an eye on others around the camp.

I know the looks of that, guessin’ they must be gossipin’. I could see myself gettin’ in on that, especially now I'm an elf. Elves are notorious gossipers from what I've heard. I’d at least be curious about Frost and Darren bein’ the newest members of the group. Let alone their two pals who get kidnapped.

Darren was assigned to take first watch and you spot him near the crest of the hill overseeing the camp. He seems to be thrashing around? It looks like he’s practicing really sloppy martial arts.

And I wonder what that’s about? Doesn’t look like a monk or anythin’ to me.

Lastly Red and Skye seem to be hurling daggers at tree stumps. Seemingly they’ve set up a makeshift target range. They are quite good judging by their accuracy.

Don’t really get the concept of throwin’ knives. Pretty sure they’re better used in your actual hand. Besides they’re dullin’ perfectly good blades by chuckin’ them at stumps.

Many interesting people make up your camp. Maybe it’s best to socialize or find a way to unwind before the raid.
