Enchanting Explanation

Once you get cleaned up and dressed, you find Sanni waiting for you. The look of amusement she gives you tells you that she knows why the dwarf girls aren’t with you. She keeps quiet about it, however, and instead fills you in on what Naia got distracted and forgot.

“Apparently, something has gone wrong with Rina, Andrew’s golem. Nothing dangerous, but it seems that she’s no longer progressing as she should.”

You nod. “And he thinks you can help?”

Sanni smiles. “Well, it seems like word has spread about the special project we did for the Forgefather, so I’ve become a little bit more well known. Andrew thinks my enchanting skills could fix the problem.”

You chuckle. “Becoming a bit of a celebrity, are we?”

Sanni actually blushes a little. “Well, maybe a bit. Don’t worry, I won’t let it go to my head!”

The lamia grins, and leans a little bit closer, speaking in a sultry tone. “After all, you’re still the star in the bedroom…”

Both of you laugh, and you give her a kiss. “I guess I WAS gone too long. You girls missed me a lot, hmm?”

Sanni nods. “It’s actually a bit surprising how much we did. You’re important to us, Greg. I don’t think any of us realized just how important until you were gone for a while.”

You smile, and take her hand. “Well, I’m not going anywhere now. So, should we bring anyone else to visit Andrew?”

Sanni shakes her head. “I think the two of us will be fine. Andrew seems like a good person, even if he is Helja and Hayley’s ex. And his girls seem nice.”

You nod, noting that Sanni hasn’t let go of your hand. “Sounds like a plan, then. We’ll go after I grab a bite to eat. Any idea what might have happened?”

Sanni moves with you as you head towards the kitchen. “I’m not sure, without looking myself, but the timing matches up with the magical surge I felt. Right before the Forgefather sent the Daughter of the Forge off on her journey.”

You smile, squeezing her hand. “Well, hopefully you can help. Like you said, Andrew and his girls seem nice enough. And it’s good to have friends.”

Sanni nods, finally releasing your hand so you can eat. “Agreed. I just hope this isn’t too tiring. We have a busy schedule coming up.”

You look at her curiously, and she grins. Leaning forward, Sanni licks her lips as she looks into your eyes. “Hayley and Helja aren’t the only ones who missed you. Lylah and I have been waiting too.”
