The usual aftermath

When you wake in the morning, you can feel Helja and Hayley snuggled against either side of you. Strangely, you also feel a weight on your chest. Opening your eyes, you see a grinning Naia laying on top of you, though for once she’s fully clothed.

“Finally awake, sleepyhead? Normally I’m the one still asleep! They musta wore you out, hmm?”

You chuckle. “Considering they’re still asleep, it’s either very early, or we were all pretty worn out.”

Naia nods, still grinning. “It sounded like a lot of fun! I would’ve joined you, but they told me it was their turn.”

Sleepily, Helja mumbles. “It was. We needed to welcome Greg home properly. Now we need to rest…”

You smile, giving the sleepy dwarf a squeeze. “I’m sure Naia isn’t just here for fun. What is it?”

The raptor girl giggles. “I mean, we could have fun too! I could join you under the covers and…”

You interrupt the excitable little redhead. “Naia. What’s up?”

Naia pouts at being cut off, but only for a moment. “Oh nothing too big! Just a messenger from that guy who runs the other workshop.”

This time it’s Hayley who mumbles an answer. “Andrew.”

Naia smiles brightly. “That’s the name! Apparently he wants to meet with you guys, and especially Sanni and Greg. Something about his golem.”

You chuckle. “You’re not a great messenger, Naia.”

She grins and shrugs. “I get distracted! You’re in bed with me and we’re not having sex!”

You roll your eyes. “Well, I’d better get out of bed then. Everyone else up already?”

Naia nods. “Everyone but Aisha and Julie. I think they had as much fun as you did last night!”

You look at the dwarves on either side of you. “Are you two coming, or is it a lazy day for you?”

Helja shakes her head. “I don’t want to. You can go with Sanni to meet Andrew. We’ll stay here.”

Hayley doesn’t even bother to open her eyes. “Agreed. Tired.”

You chuckle. “Rest up, you two.”
