Sana, a shy nerd with an unfortunate power

Sana is a transfer student from out in the country. For a long time, her parents resisted sending her to a school with so many super powered people, because Sana's own power was so weak.

Unfortunately, they decided that the bullying she received at her old school necessitated a move. Sana seems to be a magnet for bullies for a number of reasons. She's pretty, for one, which always draws some jealously even though Sana herself is embarrassed by her small breasts and short stature. She's also a bit of a nerd--she reads fantasy and manga, writes fan fiction, and plays rpgs. Then there's the matter of her power.

Sana is technically a super, but her power only made things worse--whenever she was feeling embarrassed or humiliated, Sana's skin glowed with a soft light. Not enough to blind her enemies or do anything useful, but enough to call attention to herself and draw more eyes to her. Sometimes, when the humiliation was particularly bad, she'd also start to float a few feet off the ground.

She's tried for years to learn to control her powers, or at least to find a use for them, but so far all they're good for is letting bullies know they're getting to her.

And now, at a new school with no friends, she's hoping for a new start.
