[p1 CM] Barry's choice and free-for-all turn

Barry sighed while looking at the two sets. "Super agent with a minor mind control problem, or a sexy tomahawk-chopping native-American that is the perfect spouse... I'd say both of these have some unfortunate effects for my autonomy," he muttered while scratching his slightly bearded chin.

"I think I'd go for the slightly enslaved super agent set," he said after a moment. "Aren't we all enslaved to employers we don't like, to make a living anyways? Also, it's a pretty decent perk, three points worth," he said, hesitating for a moment before shaking his head and swiping the two cards.

"Aw, guess I'll have to make do with a special agent and not a cute husband," Roxanne said in a slurred tone with a smirk, her chin cradled by her hands, elbows on the table.

"I guess it would be a trophy husband," Jill said, "considering the un-gendered 'spouse' definition."

"Maybe I'd want a wife?" Roxanne asked quickly in a rhetorical reply. "At least I'd get some help with the dishes that way!" she continues and adds a hearty, if slightly sad, laugh.

"Okay. Well, since it's off the table now, literally," Barry says as he helpfully puts the unused cards into the discard pile. "That's two cards, plus two more credits for me for a total of four. Might be able to upgrade that special agent one pretty fast."

"Now," Barry continues with a small smile. "I got a hand filled with cards like lumberjack and ugly but charming male, so someone might get a gender flip here, but also weird stuff like hippie, corruptive... erm, juices... and child-bearing hips, among some others of less import," he added, not pointing out what seemed like the most powerful card that messed with character's perception of things. It was a weird one, as it was a bit fourth wall breaking, but since it was a mechanism, one might as well assume it would be powerful. "So, anyone have anything to offer?"
