Lisa accepts Beth's offer.

"Are you sure it won't be a problem?" Lisa asked Beth.

"What won't be a problem?" Billy asked.

"I've offered to let Lisa move into Kate's old room." Beth explained to Billy, and then turned to Lisa. "Its no problem at all!"

"Are you crazy?" Billy asked of Beth. "Someone just shot up a room trying to kill her."

"And now shes being thrown out of here." Beth countered.

Billy pulled Beth to one side to continue the discussion with Beth. Bob Thorn and doc Monroe left the hotel to take care of the bodies in the street. From Alma's room emerged Virgil, carrying a load of wet bedding. He nodded at Lisa before proceeding downstairs.

"Why are you still here?" Alma, now wearing a brown dress, demanded angrily.

"I'm leaving." Lisa told Alma. "Just as soon as I can gather up my things."

Alma slammed her door shut again. More plaster fell from the wall.

"See!" Beth said loudly.

"Fine!" Billy snapped back. He then addressed Lisa. "You are welcome to move into Kate's room."

"Thank you." Lisa replied. "Can I ask you to gather my things here. I need to go to the Red Valley to collect the rest."

"Ok." Beth replied hurriedly. "Well meet you in front of the stables."

Lisa returned to the Red Valley. She explained to Caitlin what had transpired and thanked her for her hospitality. Lisa changed out of her nightgown and into shirt and pants before leaving to meet up with Beth and Billy.

As they had promised the Connors kids were waiting at the stables. They led Lisa to a small 2 story house behind the stables. Inside she was led upstairs to a bed room.

"This will be your room." said Billy dumping the things he was carrying onto the bed before leaving for his room.

"Sorry about him." Beth said, carefully laying Lisa's dress on the bed. "He just needs to get used to the idea."

Beth then left Lisa alone closing the door to her new room. Lisa made some room among Kate's things and put away her stuff. She then changed back into her nightgown and slipped into the bed. It was not long before Lisa was sound asleep.
