Her room's all shot up.

Upon reaching the hotel Lisa found that the ground floor was untouched. She hurried upstairs to find that the door to her room had been kicked in.

Looking inside Lisa saw that her bed was shot to pieces. To her horror Lisa realized that had she stayed there tonight she would in all probabilities be dead.

Alma Morgan emerged from her room. Her nightgown was soaking wet and transparent. It stuck to her body.

"I want you out of my hotel!" Alma yelled at Lisa.

"What for?" Lisa asked, puzzled at Alma's anger towards her.

Alma pushed past Lisa into the room and indicated the damage caused.

"Just look at this mess." Alma yelled.

"I didn't cause it." Lisa countered. "I wasn't even here!"

"That don't matter." Alma yelled. "Your responsable."

Alma re-entered the hall and walked to her own room. At the stairwell at the end of the hall Lisa saw, Bob Thorn being helped up the stairs by Beth and behind them were Billy and doc Monroe.

"You've brought nothing but trouble since you got here!" Alma yelled as she entered her room. "I want you out!"

Alma slammed her door. A large chunk of plaster fell from the wall between Alma and Lisa's rooms.

Bob Thorn limped into Lisa's room and surveyed the damage. Billy followed Bob into the room. Doc Monroe went up to Lisa and quickly bandaged Lisa's arm. Beth hovered about nervously.

"Anyone else hurt?" asked doc Monroe.

"Are you ok?" Beth asked Lisa before she could respond to doc Monroe.

"I'm fine, Beth." Lisa answered Beth then turned to doc Monroe. "Near as I can tell no-one else is hurt."

"How come you weren't here?" Bob asked.

"I needed a quiet night, so I bunked down at the Red Valley." Lisa explained.

"I can't have a deputy staying at the whore house." Bob told her.

"And Alma wants me out of here." Lisa said. "Guess I could try the Painted Lady for a room."

Lisa sighed and shuddered involunterily.

"If all else fails," Lisa continued unhappily, "I could move in with Usher."

"You...could move in with us." Beth offered. "You can have Kate's old room."
