For now, Ash was satisfied with the results of her swaps and decided to just live as Dawn for a while. They both continued on their way to Pallet Town until it was getting progressively darker. On 'her' Pokétch, Ash found a nearby Pokémon-Center and they decided that it would be best to spend the night there.

They made their way to the Pokémon-Center fairly quickly and upon entering the lobby were greeted by Nurse Joy. Although they weren’t the only trainers to have come here, the two of them were able to each get a room for the night. Once Nurse Joy had given them their keys, they left the lobby and headed upstairs to the floor the guest rooms were located on. Looking at their room numbers, they noticed that they weren’t adjacent, so after climbing the stairs they wished each other a good night and headed towards their respective rooms.

Upon entering her room, Ash let herself fall backwards onto her bed. This day had been wild and she could finally get some well-needed rest. Looking at the remote in her hand though, a different thought crossed her mind: Why not have some more fun with it? Even though Dawn was in his room, that didn’t mean that she had nobody to use the remote on. In fact, there was a certain nurse that could provide some fairly interesting usage results.
