Swap: Lives

Ash wanted to keep experimenting with the remote. Sure, she could just press the blue button again and undo the body swap with Dawn, but she needed to satisfy her ever growing curiosity. So, deciding on the green buttonthis time, she took aim at Dawn once again and pressed it.

In an instant, Ash was met with another change in perspective. This time however, it was not a change in height, but rather she found herself in a different position than before. Firstly, Ash noticed that Dawn was no longer ahead of her, so she turned around and saw her original body, wearing her original clothes standing in the exact same position she had been in just a few seconds ago. She then looked down at herself and saw that she was wearing Dawn's outfit, which was now once again covering the body it belonged to. "What is it, Dawn? Why did you stop?", Ash heard her original body ask. Wait, did he just call her 'Dawn'?

So, Ash had swapped positions and clothes with Dawn and was now being referred to as 'Dawn' by the real Dawn. Did that mean they swapped lives? "It's nothing, Ash. I guess this time I was the one to falsely hear Pokémon", Ash answered, including her real name to see if she was right. "Well, I guess we can both be mistaken at times", Dawn in Ash's body said, proceeding to laugh in exactly the way Ash normally would. Ash was shocked, Dawn was replicating her exact mannerisms as if he had acted this way all his life. This confirmed it, now Ash hadn’t only swapped bodies with Dawn, but lives as well.

Having gotten confirmation on what the green button did, Ash turned back around and they both continued on their way to Pallet Town. While she was walking, she noticed that interestingly, she wasn’t walking the way she normally did, but in a more feminine manner, exactly like Dawn would. This meant that the remote even helped the user act like the life they swapped into. Ash couldn’t believe it, she was now Dawn in any way imaginable.

Still, what should she do from here on out? Yes, she could undo one or both of the swaps she had made, but where would be the fun in that? There were still many more buttons to experiment with, or she could just live as Dawn for now and keep further swaps for another day. In addition, even though Ash was now living another life, the remote was still in her hand. She could now be certain that the remote would follow her whenever she performed a swap like this.
