He brings them along

"Fine! But they need to pull their weight or they'll be left behind." Responds Sirius. When they hear his answer Lexie and her companions smile relieved that now they have a chance to escape from this infernal nightmare.

Sirius pulls out one of his guns and handles it to Colin. "You know how to shoot?" He asks the young man who is still looks a little tense after Sirius almost knocked him out. Now that he's standing up Sirius can see that the guy looks like a typical frat boy, handsome, tall and athletic but that means little against demons if he doesn't have the tools to fight them.

"O-only in videogames." Colin responds nervously and before he can grab the gun Sirius quickly takes his gun back and lets out a grunt.

"Never mind then slugger. At least you should know how to use one of these right?" He then pulls out a silver dagger from his belt and handles it to him. Colin just nods and grabs the shining dagger.

"I-I know how to use a gun!" Sirius and the other two young adults turn surprised towards Audrey who seems to be more resolved to get to safety. She's slightly taller than Lexie, has straight blonde hair that reaches her back and she looks like she's no stranger to the gym and dieting.

"You do?" Asks Lexie incredulous about this secret skill from her so called best friend.

"Y-yeah, my dad likes guns and he taught my brothers and I how to use them since we were little." responds Audrey a little embarrassed.

"I guess that's better than nothing." Says Sirius as he handles her his extra gun. "Use them only as a last resource and don't do anything stupid." He instructs to both of his unexpected charges and they both nod at him.

"Wait! Don't I get a weapon or something to defend myself?!" Interjects Lexie.

"You won't need one, I'll make sure you don't...but here." Sirius takes off his glove revealing a dark wood rosary bracelet, he then takes it off and puts it around Lexie's wrist. "That should keep any demon at bay long enough for me to save you."

"Eh!? This cheap looking trinket!? This looks like a cheap souvenir from Cabo!"

Sirius ignores her rude remark and checks the hallway outside the room. It seems there's still no sign of any threats so he leads Lexie and her group outside, Colin is at the front with him, while Lexie and Audrey are at the back. They all move carefully down the hallway until they reach the stairs towards the first floor.
