The next day, Natsu took Katrina back to the forest to fight lesser dryads. While Katrina did well, Natsu was quiet disappointed.

Katrina and Natsu tried to dodge or parry most of their attacks. However thanks to Natsu's dark attacks, it wasn't long before she and Katrina had killed three of the Dryads. Natsu fired darkness blasts at the Dryads. Katrina was hit by some thorns fired by a dryad.

There were also many other Dryads still to deal with.

"I think we've made those forest spirits really mad" said Katrina.

"Forest spirits?"

"Isn't that what dryads are?"

"No, they're created by planting their seeds into dead bodies. Nature has nothing to do with it"

A dryad swung its vines at Katrina but she jumped into a tree. Natsu blasted the dryad with darkness. The dryad screamed in pain. Unfortunately, he began absorbing energy from the ground to heal himself.

"Are you kidding me?" said Katrina.

Natsu sliced another dryad from behind with a blade made from pure darkness. Another dryad fired a thorn at Katrina.

Natsu slashed the dryad, killing it. She was then immediately punched by another Dryad, sending her flying. At this point however, the dryads were all dead.
