Pretty normal

You do a quick introduction with your senior, Jon, and he takes you around the office to meet the employees under you, the VP (the position you are gunning for), and the CFO. The CEO isn't here today and the owner rarely comes into the office, choosing to do most of his work from his home when he isn't travelling. The structure of the company is smaller, for sure, but it feels like home already to you. It'll feel more like home when you can start getting out of these clothes.

For now, though, you have to behave. You've got plenty of work to keep you busy and, soon, it's lunch time. You invite some of your underlings out to lunch to get to know them and team build.

The lady directly underneath you is named Carrol. She's 32 and she's been working here for 10 years. She's shorter than you and overall smaller. You try not to exude too much of an air of superiority with her so as not to create resentment, since you just started at the company and you're younger, yet, you're already in a higher position than her. It helps that, despite your work ethic, you don't consider other people who haven't achieved your success lazy. People have different priorities in life and different opportunities. Your situation and priorities just happens to lead to leadership roles and wealth.

There are three employees under her and they are all here with you. Tom is a goofy dad-joke-telling 36 year old guy with glasses. He's very good-natured and friendly. Sam is a 26 year old who is clearly overwhelmed by the position he's in. You feel like he'll grow into it, though. Sandy is a 29 year old who you feel sees you as a rival despite how much higher your position is than hers. You have to watch out for her; she's the most likely to try to take you down a peg. Of course, if that involves stripping you, you are more than happy to help her "sabotage" you. Rounding out the lunch group is your assistant, Jake. He's a 22 year old intern fresh out of college. And he's hot. He's also very awkward and nervous. He's the one you're most looking forward to exposing yourself to and you're dying to see how he reacts. Lunch ends and you move onto your afternoon at work.
