Pretend to be surprised

I acted surprised and asked what they were doing in men’s locker room that they shouldn’t be there. They answered that it was I that wasn’t supposed to be there that this was the day of a meet and the men’s locker room was reserved for the visiting girls team. I apologized and offered to leave but they insisted I stay.
