Preparing for the week ahead

Spencer again found himself waking up to Danielle's alarm. She gave him a kiss. "Morning babe."

"Morning."

The two exchange a few more kisses, before Danielle sighed "I've got to get ready for work."

"Of course."

"You know, maybe if you're quick."

"I thought you didn't like it when I was quick?"

"Well, we weren't so limited for time then."

"True, but I think you've well and truly drained me."

"Oh, you poor thing." Danielle mocked. "Best I let you recover then."

Danielle hoped out of bed and went to the shower. Spencer took the time to get dressed and then rifled her pantries for something for breakfast. Danielle came down to be served a combination of muesli, fruit, and yogurt. Dani thanked him for the meal and then gave him a kiss before heading off for work.

Before heading off, Spencer decided to go for a shower before heading back home. Realizing Amy was still asleep, he went to his study to complete some work for his clients. Whilst he typed away on his keyboard, he felt his phone vibrate.

'took a few picture 4 my man <3'

Under the text was a naked selfie from Danielle, who had taken the picture in the shower.

'much appreciated :). c u 4 lunch tomorrow?'

'of course'

On Monday, Spencer met with Danielle. When they sat down, Danielle said "I've got something to ask you."

"Yes."

"Well, my parents want to meet you, and my brother will be in town this week. Would you be able to?"

"I'd love to. Any day good in particular?"

"Well, I know Friday is out, but otherwise, I'm good."

"Same here."

"Tomorrow?"

"Sure."

"Shall I bring Amy?"

"Sure. I'll take care of cooking duties."

"Would you like some help with that?"

"No, I'll be fine. My mother will insist in helping out."

"Well, it all sounds good to me."

"Excellent. Now, about Friday."

"You've got any ideas?"

"Well, I know a few places on the Carter Trail, if you don't mind going there again?"

"Sure."

"I've also got a spare camera, so that's all taken care of."

"Perfect."

After their meal, the two went their separate ways, leaving Spencer to ponder how tomorrow will go with Danielle's family.
